On ** November I went into a Sprint Store in Seguin, Tx to buy a new phone. I went to Sprint because *) I needed a better phone *) There was a ad on the radio for all Veterans to come to Sprint, get a phone for half price. Sounded like a good deal to me as I am a Veteran having served ** years, * months and ** days in the Navy, I am a submariner, having served onboard * different submarines all nuclear powered fast attack submarines with the exception of * diesel boat. Anyhow, on entering the store I was met by two Sprint employees - one walked to a counter with a computer on it and started typing the other person went to a phone bank and picked out a phone and brought it to the counter (I was never shown the phone). After a short period on the computer, the person put a tablet in front of me and said "Initial here". Okay, I did. About ** minutes later I again was asked to initial a spot on a tablet. Ten minutes later I was handed two boxes (which I found out after I got home was a phone in one box and a tablet in the other. I was told I would get the bill in a email. I had not seen the phone, I had not seen the tablet, I got no credit card receipt, no explanation about a plan or insurance for either the phone or the tablet. After about ** days I found that I did not like the phone or the tablet. Going back to the Sprint store they told me they could not take it back as ** days had already passed ! I have probably spent more than ** hours talking with Sprint employees trying to get this resolved - GOOD LUCK! This continues on, if you would like the rest of the story, I sent a fax to my credit card company who was suppose to forward it you, this fax explained everything above and a little more. I have some issues with the whole thing and I thought you would be interested in a Sprint store would invite a veteran in and then "***** them." Sorry, it's just the I feel about it. I have told everyone I have talked to that I would gladly pay what I owe - when you show me a itemized bill and charge me for only what I got - not the phone, (I bought the tablet), not for a plan, insurance for a phone and a tablet - (I may have took them if it was explained to me the cost and what they were for - a itemized bill, I will gladly pay what I owe. By the way I put a dispute on all the bills which were charged to my credit card in the hope of someone wondering why I was not paying the bill and get in touch with me to find out what is going on? I did this because I thought "don't pay your bill and they will come looking for you" nope, I had to tell the people I talked with what I had done". Unfortunately, most did not get it! I could go on further- (there is a fax sent from my credit card company to sprint along with a letter I had typed explaining all of this.
