I have been a customer of Sprint for ** years. I was quite disheartened to discover how they mistreat and abuse their customers. I purchased an iphone *S Plus Gold on *********. I put a surmountable sum down on the phone and opted to pay the rest of the bill via monthly installments. After the phone had been completely paid off, Sprint took it upon themselves to cancel my original contract and from "buy" to "lease". The month after the phone was paid in full, Sprint went from charging me $**.** month, to $** month for said "lease" phone. It took * months for me to discover the hidden charges on my bill. Once found I called and spoke with them concerning the charges, only for them to respond very matter-of- fact, "no, all of our records indicates the phone was a lease" per Christina call ID *********** on Oct **th ****. After searching my home extensively for the contract, I found the original sales contract which stated the phone was owned by me. The sales person put me on hold for **-** minutes, returning to tell me that miraculously, she had found information to confirm my statement. She then try to negotiate terms with me to simply "pay back" the over charge amount in full with no other restitution. I told her I did not think that was far, for them to over charge me (steal from me) for ** months and only give to me exactly what was stolen was not acceptable. Meanwhile, they charge me a total of $** each month my bill is past due. They refused to negotiate further and told me I would receive a call from corporate. Corporate "danced around" for several minutes on the call, only to tell me they would call me back in *-** business days. I never heard from them again. Meanwhile, I canceled my account held for ** years and returned all my other leased devices. After all devices were returned, I then received yet another bill for $***.** for said device that was supposedly never received into the warehouse. Meanwhile, I provided the transaction ID* ********** for that phone return as well, only to be told, "a charge dispute would be recorded to my account" per phone call ID ***********. The store in which I returned the phone, verified the phone had been shipped to their warehouse almost * weeks back, yet they made claims it had not been received. They have lied and fabricated every aspect of my account to overcharge me as much as possible. If this is how they treat a ** year customer, they have little or no ethical or moral values! I am absolutely sure, I am not the first, or the last customer to be treated this way! I have kept close documentation of every phone call, because my plan is to report them to the BBB for their financial and fraudulent abuse.
