I was trying to reduce my bill by getting a different phone (since mine went out on me I was forced to do this) figured why not get something that would reduce my bill. Instead got slapped with a higher bill!!! i was told my bill would be under $***. It is now above. ... (Sorry this is long but it is in regaurds to my bill and how I feel I was lied to....)*My s* screen had started going out earlier this summer so I had to get a new phone. I went to the kenwood branch in Cincinnati ohio to get my phone looked at to see if it was cheaper to repair or get a new phone. They determined I had to get a new one because it would have been way more to fix. I really didnt have the extra money to spend but needed a phone seeing that I do buisness on my phone and have twins in kindergarten. So the lady (not mentioning her name) talked up the LG G* thinq. I told her I cant go too expensive but still needed something that could do live streaming, take good pics and so on. She told me her bf had this phone and it has *** GB or aomething like that. Takes amazing pics. All that jazz. Then said will only cost **.** a month with promotion. I agreed that would drop my bill. We went over everything and I felt good when she said my bill would be under $*** with everything. I said ok. The whole point to me getting this phone was to help make budget cuts. I thought I was saving. Everytime I got into reading all the fine print she would talj it up more and tell me that the price reflected would be under $***. I asked if that was with tax and fees and all that. She said yes. So I spent the $*** something to get the phone. My first bill came through at over $***.... I cringed but they said that my next bill would be lower. That it was just because of activation. Fast forward to this month. I get my bill and it is $*** and some change!!!!! Um......what?! I called when I saw my bill. (Mind you I have * lines on flex plan) I talked to this really nice care specialist she told me I would get transferred to a supervisor to talk. Waited an hr....no one ever came on!!!!! I had to go because my kids needed me. Called again a couple days later. They didnt seem to underatand what I needed so I just agreed so I could hang up. Called again next day, this guy did not put me on with supervisor. Instead he wanted to explain my bill to me. I understand this. And I told him I wanted to talk to someone. He continued to try to reaolve the issue. Then told me they couldn't do anything on that end because they are just billing, I need to go down to the store I got it from and ask for a copy of my bill and contract and go over it with them! Do you realize how inconvient this all is. I was expecting to save money instead my bill is higher. I am not happy at all and need to change to another company or something because I am getting the run around with sprint....I feel lied to and I feel that your employee that sold me the phone may need to have a clearer handle on things before trying to talk something up. And I really like the service here with your company.... I just can not pay this ungodly amt every month and expect to survive with all my other bills on my income.
This is beyond fruatrationing because everytime I try to reach someone about this issue, I get batted around and passed around from person to person or stuck on hold for an absurd amount of time just to reach someone who can help.
I want Sprint to give me the amount I was promised and train their employee (the one who sold to me) a bit better.......I was told one thing. She even showed me the price in my contract. I asked if that was tax and everything included. She said yes. I asked about the price being shown on the contract above $*** she said that was for today (the day I purchased) i said so my bill will be under $***....she said yes...**I get my bill (after the really high one due to activation....which is robbery in my eyes as well but that's another story I guess) ....and I see the charge she swore was just for that day....**I am easily distracted and did read but she kept interferring with me being able to read the "fine print" so I made sure time after time that the price was tax and all included....
I have been with sprint for roughly * years.....I have always paid my bills and if I couldnt which has been the past yr or so, I set up payment arrangement for when I know I can pay.
I have called a handful of times to get this issue resolved all with different answers or just placed on hold for over an hr. I have emailed cooperate and I will be withdrawling as a customer if I can not get this resolved. I will be sharing this with others as well.
