I switched to Sprint using the buyout offer to receive a pre-paid card for $*** to buyout my contract with Verizon. I signed the paperwork that read I will receive that card within *-** business days. This was in APRIL it is now JULY and I have no card. Verizon is placing collection calls to me for the money I owe them to buyout the contract. I called on June **th and spoke to a so called “Supervisor” who advised me that my mailing address (which is correct on my account, and is correct on the paperwork I signed) was entered in YOUR system incorrectly and therefore my card was not delivered. She also PROMISED me she can get the card expedited. I told her to wait as the card could possibly still be at my post office. I called back and spoke with Desmond who has one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and told me it is not possible to expedite. I requested to speak to a manager. There I get employee ID **** (I don’t know his name) who verbatim says “I GUARENTEE you will have this new card in your mail box by Monday.” We’ll guess what??? It’s THURSDAY and I have no card. So I call AGAIN and speak to Jerome who tells me he sees that it was sent regular mail *-** business days. So I ask to speak to a manager again and I get James. Who tells me there is no possible way to expedite these cards. That no one in your organization has the power to expedite a card. Considering I live in the same city as your call center, I find this hard to believe. I asked him why it was ok for two supervisors to lie to me about this, and he just continued to repeat policy to me. I don’t care if one of your manager has to drive the * miles to my house and hand deliver this card. I expect a PROMISE and a GUARENTEE to be fulfilled upon. This is the first impression I get from Sprint??? THIS is supposed to make me happy to be a customer????? I am getting COLLECTION calls. This will damage my credit score. You better believe I will place a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and I will call every news outlet in Dallas Texas if I do not get this card in a timely manner. I am also expecting additional compensation for the LIES and TERRIBLE customer service I have endured. I expect someone to reach out to me IMMEDIATELY who will not simply repeat the script you give all customers and who will GET SOMETHING DONE.
