Help with my Spotify issue

I want to connect to my external speakers through my phone. I already have the app on my phone, but I want to upgrade to a level that will allow me to program my own music and eliminate the commercials. When I try to connect, my computer connects just to my computer and not to the app on my phone. I want to be able to use my phone, connect to the app, and have it play my playlist without commercials. I know how to get to the website and sign up, but it appears to just connect to my computer. My speakers were purchased through Verizon and work fine when I connect it through the Spotify app but I want to upgrade and be able to get rid of commercials.*Thanks.
