I want to make my issue as clear as possible. I have been paying for and using Spotify for a long time and still regularly use it. I use it on my IPhone. Just got a new phone. iPhone XS. So I play Spotify all the time almost entirely on my phone. Nothing else. This morning I was playing a podcast on Spotify, and as I was listsnting to it, Spotify would give an extremely annoying notification saying there are other devices available, and I would click to continue listening on this phone. Once I do that it shuts off my podcast. And after it skips songs within seconds too as if something is wrong with the app, or the phone. I went to settings and devices on the Spotify app, and turned show local devices only on to see if that would help. Still noting. So it seems like I’m not able to listen to music anymore without this incredibly annoying notification popping up as if I have other devices available. The notification reads you are listening on “*D********W*” continue or listen on this iphone. Please help me. I’ve payed for this app for years and would like to continue using it. It’s either a problem with my phone and Apple, or with the Spotify app. Thank you.
