The issue in GetHuman-lspeake's own words
I have had spectrum internet service for over a year and had always been pleased. After receiving a promotional offer my husband and I decided to add tv service. The promotional offer was regarding service for $**.** (per service) and a free Apple TV. I thought it was a great and the Apple TV would save on additional equipment however that great idea has now turned into a completely ruckus! On ***** I added TV service via service internet after doing so I called customer service to follow up. Everything I mentioned with the promotional offer was verified by agent and I was under the impression the equipment*Apple TV was being mailed. Several weeks passed and I had yet to receive any equipment however I receive a bill for $*** which made me question why I had yet to receive anything to utilize the service I was being billed for. On ***** I reach back out to customer service via chat and am told no equipment or Apple TV had been issued to the account. At this point I get frustrated, I clarify everything that I had been told by the prior agent also what my promotional offer reflected and arrange pickup at my local store. I was told it would be as early as the next day (which was quicker than the *-* day shipping) that I would receive an email and would need an ID when going for pickup. After not receiving an email I reach back out via chat on Monday rolls (*****) only to be connected with a very rude agent who informs me everything I was told on Friday is incorrect and that I need to contact customer care. Due to work I could not call until Tuesday (*****) when calling I’m informed that the promotional offer I originally signed up for and that multiple agents conformed did not exist. I have been waiting over a month as well and also being billed for something I have not used and was misinformed from the beginning about. I will be canceling TV service and returning any equipment I receive however the lack of value I have received is not acceptable. I have been a dedicated customer and never had issues until now. It is very clear customer service is not a top priority and the “deals” you offer are just a trap! I will not let it this go unnoticed even if I have to contact the FCC and BBB! I have documentation to clarify any questions you may have! Thank you, Lindy Bennefield
