I recently underwent the Customer Owned Yard Line inspection after discussing it with Ebony from Southwest Gas. She assured me it was a free inspection where any leaks found would be fixed by SW Gas. Despite concerns about the automatic shutoff policy, we proceeded with the inspection. The contractor found a leak which led to our gas being shut off. After attempts to fix it failed, we hired a plumber. SW Gas then found another leak during the final inspection, leaving us without gas and dependent on SW Gas for repairs. The lack of communication between SW Gas employees and the inconvenience caused by the COYL program have been frustrating. Overall, this experience has been far from what was initially described by Ebony, and I plan to share my story to warn others about the challenges faced. Nick Nussbaum, Tucson, AZ.

I recently sold my house located at [redacted] E. Topaz Ave Mesa, AZ in June [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to contact SW Gas regarding receiving bills after the sale, I haven't received any response. On 1/11/23, I received a bill for $69.99, relating to an account with number [redacted]70, even though neither myself nor Ms. Torregrossa have resided there for the past 9 months. The bill also threatens action on my credit standing. I hope this matter can be promptly resolved as there should be a new resident with their own account at the address. Despite numerous messages to SW Gas since September, I have not been able to speak to a representative over the phone. Your urgent attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you. A.C. Kupfer.

I am currently experiencing a lack of hot water in my home. Yesterday, a technician visited my house to activate the gas service. After testing the stove/oven and water heater, they assured me everything was functioning correctly and that hot water would be available in around 30 minutes. However, this morning when attempting to take a shower, hot water was still inaccessible. I am reaching out to request assistance with resolving this issue over the weekend. If immediate service is not feasible, please advise on the next steps to rectify the situation. Thank you. - LC, account number [redacted]90.
