My confirmation number is 3X9XKR. I have $[redacted] worth of tickets that need to be used by December. Recently, my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. We are facing surgery, radiation, and numerous unforeseen expenses, which will prevent us from using these tickets. I am kindly requesting a refund so we can use the money towards my husband's medical bills. His oncologist is Dr. Eberwine at IU West in Avon, Indiana. We are loyal Southwest customers and would greatly appreciate your assistance during this difficult time. Thank you, Carolyn Hooper. I attempted to call 1-[redacted] but was on hold for 40 minutes without a response, per the prompts, I am reaching out this way. You can contact me via email at [redacted] or at [redacted]. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.

I have a trip from Denver to Atlanta tomorrow, 9/10. Initially, I booked a reservation for myself on Expedia. Later, my wife decided to join, and I reserved her ticket through Expedia as well. Unfortunately, I fell ill and ended up in the hospital. Unaware of my prior booking, my wife made non-refundable reservations for us on Southwest Airlines. I just discovered this situation today. I am uncertain if I can cancel the Southwest flight or if there's a way to upgrade to cancellable reservations by paying an additional fee. I aim to travel more this year and would like to figure out my options regarding this issue. I've been unsuccessful in reaching out via phone due to long wait times exceeding an hour. I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.

Good afternoon. My name is Alejandro Camejo Aguiar, and I need to address an issue with my flight booking experience. In January, I made a reservation for a flight from Tampa International Airport to Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, Cuba. I contacted Southwest Airlines to confirm the flight, only to discover that it had been canceled multiple times. I was provided with a number ([redacted]9) to report the issue and seek an explanation for the continuous cancellations. Upon calling the number, I interacted with individuals named Roberto and Domingo who made subsequent flight bookings (Confirmation numbers: 2HEBPG, 2A5CIG, and A2HWRG) that were also canceled for various reasons. Despite my efforts to confirm the bookings, the airline was unable to verify the flight details associated with the confirmation numbers or the provided contact number. I urgently need to travel to Cuba due to a family emergency, and the inconsistency with my flight reservations is causing me significant distress. I kindly request a thorough explanation for these repeated disruptions to my travel plans. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Alejandro Camejo

We have some travel funds that are expiring at the end of September. These funds have been unused as we attempted to use them twice during the pandemic but had to cancel due to Covid-related reasons. We are looking forward to visiting the East Coast in September to see our daughter and enjoy the fall foliage. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen medical circumstances, my doctor has advised against flying eight weeks prior to or after my surgery scheduled for September 30, and I have a letter from the doctor confirming this. When I spoke to a representative, they mentioned extending the funds deducting $[redacted] for each person with funds. I am now trying to contact the corporate offices as suggested to forward them the doctor's letter, but I am unable to locate an address for the corporate office.

Our travel funds expired at the end of September. Our resort canceled our trip in January due to a tournament cancellation. We have not been able to utilize the travel funds due to concerns about flying, especially since my husband is dealing with health and radiation-related challenges. The total amount of the travel funds is close to $[redacted] or $[redacted]. Could we request an extension or possibly a partial refund for the unused funds? Thank you. - WYWRZR Glenn and Deborah Davis

I received a text from Southwest at 5:22 AM today informing me that my 8:10 AM nonstop flight from Houston Hobby to Las Vegas was canceled. I also hold a Companion Pass with a companion on my account. When trying to rebook online, the only option available was an evening flight that was not nonstop, causing me to arrive late at night. Additionally, the system did not allow me to rebook for my companion. Consequently, I went ahead and booked a late afternoon flight out of Houston Bush airport for both myself and my companion. I am seeking a refund for the price difference between the original booking ([redacted]+ points) and the rebooking (20,[redacted]+ points).

Southwest canceled my 8 a.m. flight from Hobby to Las Vegas this morning at 6 a.m. for myself and my companion pass companion. The customer service line had over a 2-hour wait. The only rebooking option online was a late-night, nonstop flight. To secure a booking before availability ran out, I found an afternoon flight from IAH and reserved it. I am requesting a refund of the excess points I used to book the new flight compared to the original flight cost.

I had a flight reservation from Albany, NY to Sarasota, FL with a connection in Baltimore on October 8th. Unfortunately, upon arrival in Baltimore, our flight to Sarasota was cancelled with no compensation offered. I was also unable to retrieve my luggage and was left without any accommodations or vouchers. The customer service provided by Southwest was disappointing, considering their reputation for excellent service. I am seeking assistance in obtaining a refund for the cancelled flight and any additional compensation for the stress and anxiety caused by this unexpected situation.

I sent my grandniece, K, on a flight to MDW with a connection to Albany NY (confirmation #4N4O8J) today. Unfortunately, the connecting flight was canceled, and she was rebooked on a flight leaving 8 hours later, which she only found out upon arrival at MDW. Despite designating her as a young traveler for assistance, none was provided. I believe a delay of over three hours entitles one to a meal voucher, which she was not given. The lack of notification about the cancellation is unacceptable, and I am very unhappy with SWA for this experience. I wish they had informed us beforehand, as she could have stayed with us instead. I hope for a response and some form of resolution to this issue.

I had booked a flight with Southwest on Friday, but it got canceled twice, first on the way from New Orleans and then today from New Orleans to Tampa. I've been on hold for over 6 hours without anyone answering. I had to book another flight with a different airline and ended up paying for two flights. Now, I'm looking to get a refund but haven't been able to reach anyone to assist me. It's crucial that I speak with a live agent from Southwest as this situation has caused me to lose a $[redacted],[redacted] contract due to not being able to get my contract signed on time.

Due to the numerous flight cancellations this past weekend (10/10/21), I am currently stranded in DC. After being on hold for over 4 hours with no answer, I was unable to make changes to my reservation online due to an error message directing me to call customer service. Forced to work, I had to book a new flight with United to return to Phoenix from DC and secure an additional night at a hotel. The charges for these unplanned expenses amount to $[redacted] for the flight and $[redacted] for the room. On my way to DC, I experienced a delay reaching Midway, causing me to miss my connection to DC and requiring an overnight stay in Chicago before flying out the next day. In light of the multiple last-minute cancellations and the extra time and money consumed, I am requesting a refund of $[redacted] covering the hotel and flight costs. My Confirmation number is: #2PWIN6 K. Hegel DOB: 1/28/99

Reference Confirmation # 44GRM: On October 9, [redacted], our Southwest flight got canceled, and we were rescheduled for October 11, [redacted]. However, we encountered issues with checking in online as the website displayed "Reservation Not Ticketed" and advised contacting Southwest. After attempting to call on October 10 without success despite being on hold for over 3 hours, I tried again on October 11 and remained on hold for 45 minutes with no resolution. It is frustrating to be rebooked without the ticketing process completed, and the inability to reach a representative is disappointing. I kindly request Southwest to address this matter promptly, including ticket refund, early bird check-in refund, $[redacted] rental car reimbursement, and per diem compensation based on the federal rate for Santa Barbara CA at $[redacted] per day per person, totaling $[redacted] for both of us. Thank you. - Jesse & Febe Washburn.

Our Southwest Airlines connecting flight got canceled. After arriving at the connecting airport, we found out our flight home was also canceled, leaving us stranded in St. Louis, Missouri. It took two Ubers to find a hotel with vacancies. Fortunately, a kind person drove 7.5 hours from Oklahoma to pick us up, after waiting for two hours outside McDonald's (I'm also pregnant). We then had to drive back to Wichita for another 7.5 hours to retrieve my car from the parking garage, costing us nearly $[redacted] on credit cards. We were left without our luggage, which they couldn't locate in St. Louis. The next available flight is on Tuesday, October 12th, leaving us feeling abandoned without much support. We're eagerly awaiting our luggage to arrive in Wichita tomorrow, creating more inconvenience.

Hello, I arrived in Atlanta yesterday at 7:00 p.m. after a series of flight delays and changes. Due to a canceled reservation, I had to pay an additional $[redacted] for a rental car. Rice October 9, [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, I am Robert Rice, traveling with my wife Patricia on Confirmation Number 25TI5B. Our travel from 3:30 a.m. to now, 9:30 p.m., has been tumultuous with flights to Atlanta being canceled or delayed, resulting in me staying overnight in Houston Hobby airport while my wife reached Atlanta. The day was chaotic, with misleading information provided, long waits for assistance, and promises of a hotel that did not materialize. We are currently on the plane, and there seems to be a delay. We departed from Austin, Texas, heading to Spokane. It has been 45 minutes, and I'm feeling the need to use the restroom. Our flight is number [redacted]. I am looking for explanations as to why there was a switch in plans and why we are currently without a pilot. Please advise on the next steps to address this situation. Are we provided with alternative transportation such as Uber and accommodations? I appreciate your assistance, although I am not certain if I will receive a response. I tend to handle challenges independently. Thank you. - PYB

I just want to express my support for the pilot who used his freedom of speech to make a humorous comment by saying 'let's go brandon.' It's crucial to resist cancel culture in our society. We should feel free to express our diverse opinions without fear. What's concerning is how some people cheer and back insults towards others, such as former President Trump. By not giving in to the loud and hypocritical minority, you'll attract many loyal customers.

I am a frequent flyer with your airline and had plans to travel from AZ back to NJ. Additionally, I was considering flights to Hawaii. However, recent reports of a pilot making threats towards the US president over the PA system have caused me concern about the professionalism of your flight staff. It is disheartening to think that someone with such poor judgment could be in charge during an emergency. I will monitor the situation closely to see if this pilot remains employed by your airline. If they do, I will not choose your airline for future flights and will share this information with others.

I purchased three tickets on May 10, [redacted], to travel from FL to CT for my dad's memorial service, which was postponed to August 9th due to the pandemic. However, we were unable to fly to CT from FL as the CT governor required quarantine upon arrival. Although you extended the tickets to May [redacted] after I had to cancel, with the new mandates on vaccinations and masks, we won't be able to use these flights. I kindly request a refund to my Southwest Chase credit card, as I have been facing financial difficulties due to unemployment and am struggling to make ends meet. I've been paying interest on these tickets for a year and a half now. I'm on the verge of losing my house, and as a single mother with a daughter in college and coping with the loss of her father nine years ago, I am in a challenging situation. My confirmation number is [redacted]. I appreciate your understanding and assistance. Thank you and God bless.

I recently participated in the companion pass promotion set to end in September [redacted]. While trying to book a flight to Las Vegas online, I encountered an error that caused the system to freeze. After rebooking the departure and return flight, I was informed via email that my initial flight was processed but the return flight I wanted was canceled due to both flights being on the same day. Despite explaining the situation to customer service, they mentioned I was not eligible for the promotion, but agreed to rebook the return flight. I was instructed to contact promotions with confirmation numbers 3KJ594 and 4RESZH for further assistance. However, I have not received any response even after a month. I am eager to have my promotion honored, as I had no control over the system error. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Esther C. RR # [redacted]6.

Hello, I'm Tonja Cook. I had to cancel my trip to Disney World from Nov 15-20. The refund from TCF bank got declined due to the change to Huntington bank. I provided my new account details after they notified me, but they insisted on sending a check by mail, which I feared I wouldn't receive. I got an email with a picture of the check from the post office, but the physical check never arrived, dated Nov 15th. I visited the post office, and they couldn't find the mail, suggesting it may have been returned. Can Southwest Vacations please take my updated account info and re-deposit the refund check into my new account?
