Really bad experience with lost baggage and broken baggage. Who do I email please? Confirmation number RM*LDN.** November *, **** we flew to Cancun and for first time ever, the flights were late, our connect was missed by approx ** min. Rather than get there at **:**am we got there at *:**pm. Then to top it all off, they lost our baggage. Of the so many times we've flown SW, they never lost anything so I felt comfortable leaving my meds in it rather than have to drag a carry on with me. Needless to say, I went **hrs in cancun without my very potent pain meds to include fentanyl, gabapentin, hydrocodone, welbutrin. My doctor informed me that if I went cold turkey on this it could kill me so imagine my fear. For the next ** hours, my wife and I stayed in the room. She had to make sure of I didnt go into convulsions. During the wait, she had to pick up some items at the store in the resort to try to take any edge off (no luck), and for some toiletries, and a swimsuit for my wife to go out and enjoy some part of the day. Everything the was way expensive but what do you expect from a resort store. Once they located the our bags our concierge and my wife informed them of the urgency to get it here. She offered to go get it but they said no that they loaded it up already on the bus for delivery. They located the bags at airport at approximately ***pm and didn't arrive at resort until ***pm. We were the closest to the airport and they delivered ours last. What service. So once my pain meds titrated into my system we were able to enjoy the last * days of a * day vacation. Then, if that wasn't enough, when we got home to San Antonio, they broke our middle suitcase by pulling the front legs off bag. **In conclusion, our confidence in Southwest, which was the only airline we used, had been damaged. I take my post in the blame for having faith enough to leave my meds in my checked bags rather than lug a carryon on. That being said, we still lost * days of vacation, cost us over $*** in temporary items, and was put in mortal danger. I'm hoping that a company such as yours will be willing to compensate us for all this. **Thank you*Jerry Ellsworth ****-***-****
