I was booked on a *:** PM flight from RDU TO SMF (confirmation ODHCIO). There was some weather in Phoenix, however when the weather cleared up no one seemed to be able to get the flights going again. My hate was changed three different times with many delays. The flight from Phoenix to Sacramento was supposed to leave at *:** and after four or five delays was supposed to take off at **:**. Without any communication we didn’t board until after **:** then sat on the airplane for nearly an hour waiting for a new pilot. At close to ***** we were asked to deplane as the pilot called off due to “fatigue”. I was on the phone for ** minutes waiting for an agent to rebook me as the customer service line was hundreds deep and I had already been at the airport or flying for ** hours. When Ian agent finally answered she said she couldn’t rebook me. I asked for a supervisor and I was again place on hold for many minutes before I finally hung up as no one came on the line. After waiting in an endless line, They weren’t able to book me on a direct flight and I am stuck here at the airport for another * *** hours. I have no luggage, I am freezing and there are no ships open where I can get food, drink or a sweatshirt. This borderlines on abuse. I am hungry, cold and tired and southwest has done nothing to rectify your many errors in this process. While I understand weather is out of your control, every other flight was able to take off last night. There are also no other people stranded in this airport from any other airline but southwest! If the other airlines were able to get their passengers to their destinations why couldn’t southwest do the same? This was not a weather situation but poor management of the situation and even poorer customer service, as the least they could have done was provide food and drink for those stranded passengers. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my life!
