My name is Charles Herbert Dreher, Georgia driver's license number [redacted]5, date of birth 8/6/56. I am facing an unresolved issue regarding my Georgia driver's license. I tried reaching out to your office on both Friday, July 27th, and Monday, July 30th, seeking assistance with an administrative error. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dana #[redacted] were unhelpful and unpleasant, prompting me to seek help here. The problem dates back to an arrest for DUI in Lexington County on December 24, [redacted]. After completing the necessary steps, including a drug and alcohol test with a certificate submitted to the state of Georgia in early October [redacted], my Georgia license renewal on 7/27/18 revealed a hold placed by South Carolina relating to the old offense. Despite providing proof of compliance, such as a cancelled payment check, test copy, and a statement from the Georgia Department of Public Safety, I am unable to drive due to this unexpected issue. Seeking a swift resolution, I am puzzled as to why this issue has surfaced now after numerous license renewals and clean MVR records for both work and insurance purposes throughout the years.

Due to my lack of a driver's license, I have purchased a moped for transportation to work, shopping, and for my daughter's medical appointments. I am Charles Gajewski with the Florida ID G220-[redacted]-69-[redacted]-0, now living at [redacted] Marie Lane, Summerville, SC. The dealer will handle the registration, but I need advice on what steps to take next to legally drive it. I am a single parent and relying on this mode of transportation for our daily needs.

I recently relocated from NJ to SC and had a difficult experience at the DMV. While trying to get my license, the staff member assisting me was unhelpful and rude. I explained that I had an ear infection and asked if my husband could assist me, but she refused. Despite my struggle to hear her due to her thick mask, she didn't make any accommodations. She insisted I take off my glasses to read, which I rely on for vision. Ultimately, she denied me a license, insisting I get my eyes examined. Now I have to go back and incur additional costs for an unnecessary exam. It was a humiliating and embarrassing situation. I hope the staff can be more understanding in the future.

My girlfriend is currently in prison in Georgia, so I'm reaching out to you on her behalf. She received a ticket in Atlanta for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Subsequently, she was incarcerated in Swainsboro, GA, leading to a failure to appear for the ticket and a warrant being issued. We have since resolved the warrant and paid all fines and fees. Atlanta has sent a [redacted] release form to you. She will soon be moving to a transitional facility, and we are seeking information on reinstating her driver's license or any other requirements before this can happen. If you require her information, please let me know, but we don't have access to her driver's license number presently.

I visited the DMV in Woodruff yesterday to renew my license and encountered a problem with an associate who loudly scolded me in front of everyone present. Despite being 65 years old with congestive heart failure, I was reprimanded for sitting in a chair without clear signage indicating otherwise. The associate's lack of manners and loud demeanor were disrespectful. The interaction left me feeling belittled and embarrassed. While I understand the COVID-19 protocols in place, the treatment I received was unnecessary. After being a customer at this branch for 15 years without prior issues, I was appalled by the behavior displayed. The associate's ID was not visible, but I noticed a Masonic emblem, which was disappointing considering the poor representation it portrayed. I believe clearer directions and better customer service training are needed at this location. I wish to address this issue with DMV management for resolution. The Woodruff DMV has received low ratings on social media due to similar complaints of rudeness. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope for a positive outcome.

I recently encountered an issue with Toyota of Rock Hill dealership where they mistakenly transferred the wrong tag to a new vehicle and deactivated the tag we intended to transfer. Upon trying to pay vehicle tax at the county auditor office, I discovered this mistake. The tag ASY983, meant for our [redacted] Nissan Murano, was transferred to a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited purchased on July 23, [redacted]. Our Nissan Murano is my husband's primary vehicle and was never meant to be part of any trade, sale, or transfer. We then purchased a [redacted] Nissan Rogue, which we sold on July 15, [redacted], but did not surrender the tag as we intended to transfer it to a future purchase. Subsequently, we bought a [redacted] Hyundai Santa Fe Limited from the same dealership, expecting to transfer the tag from the Nissan Rogue. However, due to errors in paperwork and registration, the tag remains inactive on the Santa Fe. Despite informing the dealership about the situation, no action has been taken. I purchased a blue GMC Yukon from First Class Auto Sales located at 20 Broadway in Myrtle Beach, SC. The car displayed [redacted],[redacted] miles on it when I bought it. The dealership listed it on Marketplace as having a clean title, no wrecks, and only [redacted],[redacted] miles, but I later discovered this was false information. Despite paying $8,[redacted] in cash for the vehicle for my boyfriend, we broke up, and I decided to return the car. I made the purchase in April of [redacted] but decided to sell it soon after. I found a buyer willing to pay $8,[redacted], and upon conducting a Carfax check, it revealed that the car had been in two accidents and had its mileage rolled back, showing nearly [redacted],[redacted] miles. This deceptive practice by First Class Auto Sales is dishonest, and I have sought legal assistance. It's concerning that the dealer knew about these issues but chose to mislead customers.

I have been attempting to obtain disabled veteran tags for our vehicles since August 2nd, [redacted], without success. My customer number is #[redacted]82. I submitted my DD214 and other necessary documents to replace our current handicap plates with disabled veteran handicap plates. Despite making approximately six phone calls, I have not received any callbacks. My emails remain unanswered. I received a letter requesting completion of a physician's form for the handicap plate, which is redundant since the plates are already on our vehicles. Could someone please reach out to assist with obtaining the disabled handicap veteran tags for our [redacted] Hyundai and [redacted] Chevelle, both of which currently have handicap tags? I was previously informed about a Vietnam Vet handicap tag, for which I sent a $20.00 check, only to have it returned indicating it is not available. It is disheartening to be treated this way as a veteran.

The number to call for the Moncks Corner DMV online is incorrect and out of service. I am trying to determine if an expired ID and mailing address are sufficient to obtain a new ID for the purpose of getting my birth certificate and social security card. However, nobody is available to clarify this over the phone. It's quite a distance for me to travel to the DMV, and I want to ensure I have all necessary documents before making the trip. Today is Friday, December 29, [redacted], and it is currently 11:40 am. I have been attempting to resolve this for the past three hours. I would appreciate a call before 2:30 pm with the correct contact information or confirmation that my current documents are acceptable for obtaining a new ID. I am in desperate need of contacting a LIVE PERSON at the South Carolina DMV. I have been living in New Mexico for 11 years but cannot obtain an NM driver's license as there seems to be a hold on my license from SC DMV. Despite speaking to SC DMV years ago, they deny any existing problem. Due to Covid, I have faced delays. NM MVD requires a letter from SC DMV confirming that there never was an issue or that it has been resolved to release the hold. This has been ongoing since [redacted]. The reason for the hold, a CDL violation, is invalid since I have never had a CDL. Please assist me in getting connected to a live representative at SC DMV. Thank you for your help. Gratefully, K. M.

I have been receiving the title for VIN 3FA6P0HD6LR110560 addressed to SCS Credit Corp, listing S. Black for a [redacted] Ford Fusion. Despite returning the title to South Carolina Dept of Motor Vehicles on 4/28/23 with a clarification that SCS Credit Corp is not the lien holder, a new title was sent to us. The individual listed is not a client of SCS Credit Corp, and we have never owned this vehicle. I will resend the title to the South Carolina Dept of Motor Vehicles. My daughter visited the Camden office to register her vehicle with out-of-state plates and an expired registration. She was informed that she needed her title, but since she is still making payments, she does not have it. After contacting the state's title office, she was told the DMV would need to request the title from the other state. However, when she went back to the Camden DMV to share this information, the clerk informed her they do not request titles from other states. How can someone in this situation obtain a copy of their title?
