Hello, I want to express my gratitude to the SoundCloud team for their support of artists. I have recently switched to Repost and discontinued my subscriptions with TuneCore and DistroKid. I have encountered a couple of issues that I believe you can assist me with resolving. Firstly, I mistakenly set the release date of my track "Nosebleed" to [redacted] instead of [redacted]. I kindly request to update it to June 26, [redacted]. Furthermore, I would like all my tracks to be connected to my social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Thank you for providing such a great service with Repost. I'm excited to be a part of SoundCloud and look forward to growing with you. Sincerely, Vann Vega [Track Details & Social Media Links] P.S. Any improvements in linking my social media to TikTok and Instagram more efficiently in the future would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I am interested in learning about any other services you offer like promotion or partnerships that could benefit me. Thank you.

I created an account yesterday with the email [redacted] on SoundCloud. I received the confirmation email, and I uploaded a mini mix. However, I am unable to log in to my account since last night. The mix I uploaded seems to be missing as well. My profile name is Badge:R. I used to have another account under the email [redacted], which I couldn't access either. If needed, I can provide details for that account. I would like that old account to be deleted. I am currently unable to access SoundCloud and I am concerned about the missing mix and my new profile. I hope you can assist me with this issue.

I had SoundCloud Pro on a yearly billing cycle. Despite my expired credit card, I was surprised to find out they billed me successfully without my updated payment information. I am frustrated by the lack of communication and support. I suspect they may have acquired my new card details through my Google account, which feels like a violation. I am disappointed in SoundCloud's disregard for customer consent. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted] and expect better transparency and integrity from a platform I have been using for 10 years. If this issue is not resolved, I will not hesitate to inform others about my negative experience with SoundCloud.

I have some legal concerns about a potential SoundCloud information leak. There seems to be a possible compromise of account information and a bug where my account shows foreign followers I have never interacted with. As a label that supports non-foreign artists (excluding specific countries), it is concerning to see this. Despite multiple attempts to reach out due to the current pandemic situation, I have not received a response. Can I trust a German-based music production company as an American user? Your assistance is appreciated, but please note that we prefer support from those with good English skills and familiarity with the U.S. Thank you for your help. - LoofyBeats Production©

I am experiencing an issue with my SoundCloud settings. I had all the settings saved on one computer, but after it updated, all the settings were cleared. I manage the SoundCloud account for Lynn Lane Baptist Church. Instead of connecting to the Unlimited Pro account that we have paid for, I am being directed to a limited 3-hour account prompting me to upgrade. I suspect that I may have created multiple accounts for Plainview Baptist Church and now for Lynn Lane Baptist Church. When attempting to change the password, it keeps redirecting me to the old limited account instead of the new unlimited one. I believe deleting the old accounts and keeping the new unlimited one would be the best solution, but I am unable to access the new account due to not having the correct password. I usually upload weekly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Donald Jay Ross.

I am currently unable to access the email I used to register at www.soundcloud.com/djpaulc. Due to this issue, I have created a new profile at www.soundcloud.com/djpaulc-1. Interestingly, some tracks and my bio are duplicates between the two accounts. The initial email, [redacted], is inaccessible after the domain was sold to an unknown party. When attempting to recover the password, a message displays indicating that the email has been compromised. I urgently need assistance as I aim to modify settings and re-download one of my songs on the platform as I have misplaced my personal copy. My current email is [redacted], while I have previously used [redacted] and [redacted] Your prompt support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I signed up for the Go! free trial but it didn't apply to my account. Instead, I was charged £9.99 via PayPal. I have been using the basic mode from the beginning and cannot afford the monthly fee. I did not get a chance to cancel the trial because it didn't work in the first place. Please look into this and provide a refund of the amount charged. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Dave M. Channel: whiskerweasel

Some of my uploads were blocked today. Back in [redacted], I bought perpetual rights to "Prayers to the Dust of Vraja" for $[redacted] from the performer/producer, Mr. Edward Stricker, also known as Aindra dasa, who sadly passed away in [redacted]. It seems that Voices for Vraja may have infringed the copyright by using the work without my permission after Mr. Stricker's death. I had produced [redacted] CDs of the work in [redacted], and it's possible that Voices of Vraja sampled this production. I possess the original digital Mini Disc Red-BOOK Master that Mr. Stricker gave me personally. I voluntarily took down the content from SoundCloud, even though I own the work, and I'm requesting the removal of the blocked images related to Aindra dasa from previous uploads. I wasn't sharing it for profit but as a free service. Best regards, David Britten SoundCloud Page Name: Radha Govinda Krishna Meditations

Good morning. I seldom contact service providers, but recently I've noticed a disturbing trend with your company. I acknowledge that artists and songwriters need to be compensated, resulting in ads and commercial interruptions. Unlike Apple, whose growth relies on innovation every 5 to 7 years, your company depends on artists worldwide every day for growth. Presently, during the Covid period, Apple has engaged in accounting tricks to boost its share price, despite declining sales. They achieve this by buying back their own stocks, inflating prices without producing anything new. How does this relate to you? With most of us at home working, learning, and shopping online, postal services are raising rates and spending on overtime and equipment. Recently, I noticed a change in how your company generates income. Ads interrupt the music, driving me to switch to Pandora for uninterrupted listening, despite Soundcloud's broader music selection. Pandora's visual ads allow uninterrupted music listening, a model that could benefit you. By mining consumer data like other tech giants, you could pay artists using user data, providing free music listening to consumers. Consider this strategy to attract more listeners, grow your market share, and support artists, all while adapting to the current business climate. I hope these suggestions help drive your business forward. Respectfully, Sir Thomas ☕

Hello, On 21.9.20, SoundCloud removed my track "Wo bist du" from my profile due to a copyright claim related to the song "Bauersbua" by Labrassbanda. I have already informed them that I have obtained permission from all the copyright owners, including Manuel da Coll, Willy Loester, Andreas Hofmeier, Sony-ATV Music Publishing (Germany) GmbH, and Universal Publishing Music Publishing GmbH. My track "Wo bist du" contains only a short sampling from "Bauersbua" with my own lyrics in German and my vocals. I have used the "file a copyright claim" feature on SoundCloud to explain this. I am willing to provide all necessary permissions. I hope for your assistance and await your response. Thank you. Christiane Wiedemann-Mayer

Subject: Unauthorized Payment Deducted from Account Dear Sir or Madam, I have been trying for over an hour to contact someone, but to no avail. Recently, I purchased the annual package for SC with great excitement. However, I have just noticed an unauthorized charge of €4.99 for the same package (Item no. 23bba1c148e84f8e9b24c333a9f07e83-[redacted]) deducted from my PayPal account. How could this happen? I did not make this purchase. What does this package entail, and why was it deducted from my PayPal account without consent? In addition to addressing this issue, I am requesting a complimentary 12-month extension of my subscription following this incident. I kindly request an immediate acknowledgment of this message to my email, [redacted], and the cancellation of the deduction. If this is not resolved by Monday, I will take legal action. It is outrageous to debit my PayPal account without authorization – a deceitful action by your company. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Joshua Schwark

My account has been blacklisted... My friend and I have spent the last 8 months building our platform on SoundCloud with over [redacted] listeners. About a month ago, [redacted] of our followers were inexplicably removed without any notification from SoundCloud. Despite this setback, we kept working on our latest album release. We noticed a significant drop in plays after the follower loss. Previously, our albums would receive around 4k plays in a month, primarily from SoundCloud algorithms. However, the latest album struggled to get even 90 plays on release day and 20 in the following 3 days. Our usual play count would be in the hundreds to over a thousand by now. We believe our account, DemonYouth, has been unfairly blacklisted, as we have always grown our following organically and never resorted to buying followers or plays. We are requesting to be removed from this blacklist as we are dedicated to building a genuine following. Looking forward to your response. Warm regards, DemonYouth

I've informed the team multiple times about the issue with my app. They added an incorrect account, resulting in three accounts in total when there should only be one. Despite my efforts to resolve this by cancelling them, I was still charged three times this month for separate accounts. My bank is treating these charges as fraudulent. The email address I provided may not be the same as the ones associated with the incorrect accounts. There were three different email addresses involved due to the confusion caused by the multiple accounts. Just a heads up, I will be filing fraud claims for the erroneous charges that were meant to be stopped for payment.

I have received feedback from some listeners regarding sudden intrusive ads on my tracks on SoundCloud. After researching the new SoundCloud ad revenue policy, it is stated that content providers must consent to having ads on their tracks. I have not intentionally given consent and am unsure about how ads were enabled on some of my tracks. I am unable to locate an option to disable them. SoundCloud provides limited information on this matter, mentioning that the presence of ads indicates the artist's consent for revenue. However, there is no clear explanation on the process or how to opt-out. I have not been able to identify where this setting is enabled and have not personally heard the adverts. I am uncertain about this situation and have not found a way to reach out to SoundCloud for assistance.

Dear SoundCloud Support Team, I encountered an issue with my account where the song "Wonderul Tonight" by Eric Clapton was removed from my playlist due to a copyright violation. Despite my efforts to appeal and secure a license from the publisher, the track remains inaccessible on my station. I kindly request for your legal department to review this matter promptly. If the song is not restored within 24 hours, I expect a detailed explanation for the delay. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Sincerely, Howard B.

Hello, urgent matter here. I am known as "6ngeel" and I recently released a song titled "three falls ago" on the 20th. Unfortunately, the track was taken down after reaching 1,[redacted] streams due to copyright issues. I had proper consent from the artist "ohsobrkn" to distribute the song and had made changes with my producer under consent to avoid any conflicts. The takedown was instigated by someone named Amaru, claiming copyright infringement, even though he does not hold rights to the song. It's frustrating to have my work disrupted after putting in so much effort into promoting a meaningful song to me. I request that my song be reinstated, as I had the rights to it and did not infringe on any copyrights. I have already submitted a claim and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. I appreciate your attention to this issue. Thank you.

I had obtained permission from the artist Ohsobrkn to distribute the song, and my producer and I made alterations with consent to prevent copyright issues. The takedown was initiated by someone named Amaru, claiming that his version "Lonely" was infringed upon, although I had previous rights and consent for my song. I am disappointed that my hard work and meaningful creation was disrupted. I have already submitted a claim and am hoping for a resolution to reinstate my song. I just want my song to be reactivated as it was before. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have recently discovered unauthorized access to my personal data on my phone for the past 10 days. I am unable to log in to my SoundCloud account, causing me concern as I've had it for 5 to 6 years with extensive content invested. I hope to recover my account promptly to prevent any loss. I have evidence of the security breach and seek urgent assistance in determining the status of my account. I have refrained from using any apps in fear of further compromise. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated as I am anxious about the situation. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

I've noticed an unauthorized deduction of $10.59 monthly from my personal checking account. I do not use SoundCloud, nor do my children. I would like this deduction canceled and refunded for the services I did not sign up for. Kindly refrain from making future deductions as I will inform Chase Bank. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] to address this issue.

Hello, I wanted to report an individual for posting inappropriate content. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide the URL to their profile as I couldn't locate it. The person's name may be Tanya, and their profile picture displayed unsuitable content with a link leading to even more explicit images. I have already blocked this user, but have been unsuccessful in finding their account again. I will keep searching and will send another message if I manage to locate it. I've been looking for a while and tried to recall details about the profile, but have not had any luck finding it. Thank you.
