I was trying to get you to have Best Buy in summerville sc to replace my tv. ... i PURCHASED A NEW SONY ** INCH TV XBR**X***H FROM BEST BUY IN SUMMERVILLE ON ********. it was installed by Best Buy on ********* and connected to cable on the **th, it worked fine. Within * days the picture worked fine but no sound. When I streamed something, it worked fine with sound and picture. I had cable company ( Home Telecom) come out and they just removed it for HDML * to HDML * and it worked fine for two more days. Cable company came out again and tried each of the HDML ports and sound only worked on * and *. Two days later no sound again. Cable company came out and replaced box and their cable and plunged it into HDML * and sound worked. Two days later no sound on any HDML port. We tried the cable connection with another tv and it worked fine. Cable company tech suggested that there was probably a bad decoder chip in tv. Following up with Sony on line which no longer provides phone service they referred me to a web site called just answer which charged me $** dollar and told me it was a hardware problem. I Contacted Best Buy and they said I was two days late in notifying them that the tv was defective under their return policy. Even though I had been calling them for * days with no one answering the phone. Their response it was a manufactures problem. *I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, and it took me a while to save the money to purchase this TV. I paid almost $**** for TV, stand and installation and I want my tv repaired or replace.* Your timely response to this issue would be most appreciated.**Bill Milo
The tv is less than a month old and has a major flaw.
I was trying to get you to have Best Buy in summerville, sc to replace my tv.
I have been buying Sony products all my life and they are outstanding. That is the reason I paid almost double for a Sony then a comparable other brand.
* service tech visits from cabel company, Installed new cabel and box and paid $** to service tech at Just Ask. All have confirmed it is a chip problem
