My account was compromised by a hacker a year ago. The hacker changed the email, phone number, and password. Despite trying my old emails and numbers, I have not been able to regain access. Snapchat support has not been helpful. I am not seeking to use the account again, just to retrieve my data and memories. The account has been secured. I am requesting an exception considering the sentimental value of the memories stored under @cassidy_maui. I can provide identification proof other than the email/phone/password. I remember my "my eyes only" password and can identify myself in the photos, locations, and more. Losing these memories has been upsetting, and I am determined to keep trying until Snapchat support rectifies the situation and restores my memories.

Today, when I tried to access Snapchat, it notified me that my account is locked. Following the provided link, I attempted to unlock it by signing in and pressing the unlock button. Unfortunately, I received a message stating that my request couldn't be processed. I suspect this lock resulted from the recent use of various devices after my primary phone, which I originally used for Snapchat, broke. Despite receiving strange messages from someone using my account and being unable to log in, I was devastated to discover that my account had been permanently deleted. I've been using Snapchat for as long as I can remember, engaging with it daily. Recently, I faced a permanent ban without any prior warning, which has left me feeling extremely frustrated. After transferring data to a new phone, I attempted to log in to Snapchat but forgot my password. When trying to reset it using my recovery number, it claimed it was not the correct one associated with the account. Despite being sure it was my verified number, it wouldn't allow me to reset the password. I re-entered the number multiple times, restarted my phone, and attempted to receive the code, but it was never sent. Upon re-entering my number, it now claims the number is not valid.

Hello. I am Lexi DuBose. On December 18th, I received an email notifying me that someone had logged into my account from a different device. I recently got a new phone on the same day and assumed I missed the second email. The second email stated someone from Troy, Michigan, logged into my account using an iPhone 12 mini, yet I reside in Pennsylvania and use an iPhone 12. Realizing this only today, when I tried to log into Snapchat around 7:05, I encountered issues. My friends mentioned being unadded, unbeknownst to me. Despite attempting to contact support, I couldn't obtain a case confirmation number due to my terminated email-linked account. Changing my password was impossible for the same reason. I assure you I haven't shared inappropriate content or engaged in any misconduct. Using the same Snapchat account for 5 years, it holds valuable memories, including those of a dear departed friend. The lack of direct human assistance is disheartening. Numerous users facing similar challenges have expressed frustration. My account, "bogorman6," was banned because I tagged my friend in a story where I jokingly pretended he was selling items, although he wasn't. He is from the USA, I am from Ireland, and it was meant as a harmless joke, not offensive in any way. I took the story down within 7 minutes on my own. Snapchat is how I communicate with my friends, and now I can't even create a new account. This situation is frustrating since it was all in good fun.

Recently, my boyfriend experienced a serious medical emergency that led to his hospitalization for more than a week. The doctors prohibited him from using his phone during this time, causing us to lose our 1,[redacted]-day snap streak. Since December 13th, I've been unable to access my Snapchat account. Snapchat sent me an email stating that someone had logged in, changed my password, and deleted my account without my consent. I logged into Snapchat on someone else's phone while my device was charging, only to have my account permanently blocked, and I'm unsure why. The support forms are not helpful, only bots reply.
