I'm in a bit of a dilemma. There's a very attractive guy who's going to ask for my Snapchat soon (and he's got a great personality too!). I'm desperate to change my username before he does. I just can't continue with the current one. Even if it's only for a day, I'm okay with that. I just really need it not to be what it is now to avoid embarrassing myself, yet again. I briefly logged out of my account to access my girlfriend's account at her request. When I tried to log back in, it kept saying my password was incorrect, even though I was sure it was right. I attempted all my previous passwords to no avail. Trying to reset my password with my email and phone number, just like I've done before, has not been successful. There are many important memories and conversations with deceased family and friends on that account that I cannot lose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Snapchat account has been hacked. Someone managed to change the password on my account, and I can no longer access it. I no longer have access to the phone number or email associated with the account, so the password reset option isn't available to me. I recently changed my Snapchat password due to concerns about someone potentially knowing it. However, when a friend logged in on my account and then logged me out, I couldn't remember my new complex password. I tried the "forgot password" option, but after resetting it with my email, it created a new account with none of my previous data. This new account has no photos, snap scores, or friends. My Snapchat account has been compromised, and it's causing me a lot of distress. Initially, I received a suspicious message from a friend's account asking for my phone number to re-add it to their contacts. Believing it was my friend, I shared my number, only to have it screenshotted. Following this, I was asked to share my login details under the guise of finding someone on Snap Maps. I proceeded to provide my information, including the security code that was texted to me. Unfortunately, I later discovered that my account had been accessed by a hacker, who changed the phone number associated with it. Despite my efforts to reset the password, the hacker kept gaining control and resetting it themselves. I reached out to Snapchat, and although I have a case number, I am yet to receive an update. This situation is upsetting for me as many precious memories, particularly of my son, are stored on my account. I am struggling to regain access as the security measures require a verification code to be sent to the compromised phone number.
