I received a concerning message from a friend asking to log into my Snapchat account due to issues with her ex and boyfriend. Unfortunately, after sharing my login details, I received an email informing me that someone had accessed my account and added their phone number. When attempting to change my password, it redirected the information to their number, causing distress about my privacy. Friends have reported receiving similar messages from my hacked account. My date of birth is February 21, [redacted], and I last used Snapchat on an iPhone 6s with the username carlifornia77. The phone number associated with the account was [redacted]. When I created my Snapchat account, I used my phone number instead of an email. For verification, I used an email belonging to my sister's friend. Unfortunately, my sister and the friend have had a falling out, and he has now hacked into my Snapchat account. He is posting private pictures of me on Facebook, causing distress. On Saturday, December 7, [redacted], my Snapchat account was hacked, and the password was changed, locking me out. I lost thousands of memories and pictures. I created a new account, but the hacker added me and demanded money to return access to my original account. I refused, and now they are threatening to expose my personal pictures online. I updated my Snapchat password to gigi_ortiz0, then unintentionally logged out and cannot recall the password. Hello, I am uncertain if this is the appropriate avenue for my concern, but I am facing harassment on Snapchat. An individual has created over [redacted] fake Snapchat accounts to message me. The person inserts their message into the username and then adds me as a friend. I have attached screenshots of the interactions to this email, showcasing just a few of the accounts. Today I encountered an issue with my Snapchat accounts. The first account, which I have used all day, suddenly got banned upon returning home from school. I am constantly getting emails about the account “shookethh” sent to my personal email address [redacted] Despite my responses, I keep receiving emails regarding the account's activity such as reactivation, deactivation, and people confirming ownership. I'm having trouble accessing my Snapchat chat history. When I check my chat history, nothing shows up, but when I look at my snap history, I see things. I was recently reported on Snapchat and logged out of my account for supposedly violating their guidelines. The only content on my story was a tweet from Donald Trump which I believe did not breach any rules. I am seeking to have the report removed from my account. While I understand it may not be feasible, I am curious to find out who reported me. My account on Snapchat has been locked since 12/8/19, and today is 12/10/19. I have crucial photos of my late grandfather, including one of us holding hands before he passed away, and I desperately need to access them. He passed almost a month ago, and he meant a lot to me. I believe my Snapchat account has been compromised. I have reached out to Snapchat's customer support for assistance, but I have not made any progress. The hacker has altered my phone number, email, and password. Despite informing my friends to report my account for suspicious behavior, the hacker is still active on it. They are attempting to deceive others with Cash App schemes and have shared private photos of me and my loved ones. This situation has left me feeling helpless and upset.
