I have been using Snapchat for a long time, and whenever I log out, it usually prompts me to back up my memories. Today, however, the backup prompt did not appear, so I assumed my memories were safe. When I logged back in, my Snapchat memories were gone. This is extremely frustrating and unusual for me. I am disappointed with Snapchat for this issue, and I hope they can help me retrieve my lost memories.

I recently lost a streak with the contact "Chase🏞" that had lasted over [redacted] days. Despite our efforts to Snapchat, nothing was loading or sending between us. We are currently in a different country on vacation, and suspect that the issue may be due to the service here. I would appreciate it if you could help recover the streak, or if not possible, reset it to [redacted] days. Maintaining this streak has been important to us, as we have put a lot of effort into it over a long period of time. Snapchat is our main means of communication for this streak, so losing it could lead us to stop using the app altogether.

Hello, my name is Reagan, and my Snapchat account has been rea.bae for about 4-5 years, from 7th grade to senior year. Unfortunately, yesterday my account got hacked. Despite knowing my password well, I received an email notification saying my Snapchat password was changed while I was in the shower. When I tried to log in, I couldn't access my account as the hacker changed both the email and phone number linked to it. The original email associated with the account was [redacted] My friends have alerted me that the hacker is trying to scam them for money through my account. I'm worried about this situation and want to prevent anyone from getting scammed. I can offer proof like pictures from my memories, my best friends list, and even the first picture I ever took if needed to verify my ownership of the account. I believe my account has been compromised. I had taken a break from Snapchat, and upon my return, I found myself logged out. When attempting to log back in, I was informed that my password was incorrect, despite being sure of its accuracy. I initiated a password reset but had not confirmed it, assuming I would never be logged out. This was my third and supposedly final account, carrying all my friends. Since I had created the account a year ago with a now-discontinued phone number following a phone upgrade, I'm unable to verify via email or phone. Losing access to this account has been disheartening as it held many cherished memories and connections with people no longer here. I've exhausted all efforts to access it. On August 23, while viewing my received Snapchats, the app unexpectedly logged me out. Upon attempting to log back in with my username and password, I encountered an error message stating it was incorrect. Despite numerous login attempts, I continued to face the same issue. Assuming it was a server problem, I waited but was dismayed when I logged in after 15 minutes to discover multiple messages questioning an inappropriate picture on my story. Perplexed, I removed the post and explained I was hacked, only to be met with disbelief as they noted my swift return to the account. Suspecting the hacker of briefly changing my password, I fear for the impact on my academic pursuits without resolution. Urgently seeking assistance to clarify the situation to my Snapchat contacts and regain control. Appreciating any help offered.

My account was hacked, and my email wasn't linked to it, only my phone number. However, I changed my number two weeks before the hacking, so I can't use the recovery code method. It's my account, but I'm unsure who else has access. The hacker's username is stfu.glo, and they changed the password, which I'm positive was my original one. I can verify the account is mine. Can you please find another way to confirm my identity and help me regain access to my hacked account? I can provide the last password used and additional details; I just really want to recover my account, which I've had since middle school.

I have contacted Snapchat support multiple times, but I may not have provided sufficient information. My account was hacked last Sunday night around 11-12 o'clock. The hacker changed the email, phone number, and password linked to the account, preventing me from accessing it or resetting the password by using the "forgot password" option. The original account used the email [redacted], phone number [redacted]2, username Esme.kt10, and the password monkeys2. I was last able to access this account around 11-12 o'clock before it got hacked. On Monday morning, I created a new Snapchat account, username esmekilburn, with the same email address and phone number as the old one. I wish to regain access to the hacked account as it holds many cherished memories and photos. I have also asked my friends to report the account. Thank you for your assistance.

My account got hacked! The hacker added two-factor authentication, changed my password, and even got a recovery code. I can't log in. I received an email saying someone logged in near Orlando, Florida, but I'm in West Virginia. Please help me recover my account, I don't want to lose my photos. Hello! I recently encountered an issue with my Snapchat accounts. Initially, my first account was permanently locked for unknown reasons. After trying to resolve the issue on the website, I created a second account which worked for a brief period before encountering the same locking problem. Despite reviewing Snapchat's support guidelines, I cannot find any wrongdoing on my part. I am eager to regain access to my accounts, especially the first one, as it holds cherished memories dating back to 2[redacted]. The accounts in question are named Lillborken3 and Borken127. Hello, I am having trouble accessing my Snapchat account. I tried to reset my password using my mobile number, but it says the number is not verified and suggests using an email address. I have not verified an email before as I always used my mobile number to reset the password. Recently, I attempted to create a new account with the same number, and I believe Snapchat may have transferred my number to the new account, removing it from my original account (sowsanox), which I do not want. Could you please help me recover my account (sowsanox)? It contains important memories for me, such as photos. I can provide details about the last person I communicated with and describe my last photo, which was a video of my little sister showcasing her hair. I am feeling really upset about this situation. I have tried all my emails, but I don't think any of them are linked to the account.

About two months ago, I found myself locked out of my original Snapchat account for unknown reasons. Despite reaching out to them through Twitter and their website, I have not received any helpful assistance. I created a new account after a week, only to be locked out again within days. This pattern continued with three more accounts. I had blocked Team Snapchat on the app, so I did not receive their email notifications. To try and resolve the issue, I created a new email and another Snapchat account. The problem seemed to be resolved, but a few weeks later, I was locked out of my fourth account. Despite checking my inbox in the new email, I did not receive any email notifications from Team Snapchat. I'm feeling frustrated as I haven't found a solution to this recurring problem.

The other day, my Snapchat account was completely hacked before I could even change my password or click on "forgot password." One moment I was using Snapchat, and then suddenly I was logged out and received three emails in quick succession. The first email informed me that my password was changed. I hurried to try to log back in and reset the password, but then I received two more emails stating that my phone number and email had been changed. At this point, I have no way of recovering my account and all the memories stored on it without assistance from Snapchat. The hacker is using my account to message people, asking for money and using "cash app," which is something I would never do. I even contacted the person through a friend's account who was impersonating me, and they found it amusing. Losing all my old snaps and memories to a hacker is something I truly want to avoid.

Hello, I am still awaiting further assistance for the issues with my account. My Snapchat handle @anthony_md was locked due to a phone hack, and it seems there might be a bug blocking my iPhone X from logging in. I managed to unlock the account on my old iPhone 8, which I only use on WiFi at home, and have been able to use Snapchat from there. However, when I tried to log in on my iPhone X, it seems the account may have been locked again. I believe the initial hack on my phone might have triggered this issue. I have not received help after waiting for 5 days since my last email request. Please assist me in resolving this matter as it seems to be a mistake regarding my IP being blocked. I recently received an email from Snapchat notifying me of a login attempt on my account that was not initiated by me. When I tried to confirm this and report the unauthorized access, I encountered issues with my email and password being deemed invalid. Furthermore, the verification code sent to my phone did not come through despite repeated attempts. This is especially concerning as my phone was recently flagged for potential fraud, and the timing of both events raises suspicion. I have reached out to Snapchat through a support ticket but have not received any response even after a follow-up. A tweet to their support account directed me back to the support ticket system.

Hello, A few days ago, my Snapchat account was suddenly locked while I was viewing a friend's story. This was unexpected as it had never happened before. I attempted to log back in but received a "temporarily locked" message. Following the advice on the Snapchat support page, I waited for more than 24 hours. After the waiting period, I tried to unlock my account online, which seemed successful. However, when I tried to log in on my phone, I encountered a "could not refresh" message. Hello, my name is Lily and my account username is lily.russell. Tonight, someone pretending to be my friend asked to log into my Snapchat to view someone's story. I agreed, and now I cannot access my account because both my friend and I were hacked. Unfortunately, the hacker changed the recovery phone number and email, so I am unable to recover my account from where I am. I remember using my high school email when setting up the account, but I no longer have access to it. I urgently need my account back and would like to speak to a representative to resolve this issue. I received an email stating they can't assist because the email I provided wasn't the one used to set up the account, but it is really me trying to access my account. Hi. My friend and I were working on mastering a new track for his upcoming album. I usually turn off the Snap Map so no one can contact me while working. Unfortunately, I accidentally deactivated my Snapchat account. I received an email stating I have 30 days to reactivate it. The email said to log in to the app to reactivate it, but I forgot my password and cannot reset it. It's crucial I regain access as I find artists needing track mastering through Snap stories. I recently logged out of my Snapchat account. However, when I tried to log back in using my usual password, it was not accepted. Despite thinking I had verified my phone number for password retrieval, I never received a verification code to change it. I checked my emails and found a message from Team Snapchat confirming that my password was changed on March 2nd, [redacted], a change I did not initiate as I always use a memorable password.
