I used to have a Snapchat account with the username xbxbyell. The email linked to the account is [redacted], and the phone number associated with it is [redacted]3. My phone was confiscated by the police for undisclosed reasons related to an ongoing case. Therefore, I am unable to access my Snapchat, which had two-step verification enabled, as I cannot retrieve the device. Unfortunately, the recovery code was saved on the phone's camera roll. I have access to the linked Gmail account, but I cannot bypass the two-step verification. I am reaching out for assistance to regain access to my account. I have contacted Snapchat multiple times, more than likely 10 or more times, but the issue remains unresolved. My account has been locked for several months. Although the Snapchat website tells me my account is unlocked and allows me to log in, every time I try to sign in, it says my account is temporarily locked. When I check the website later to unlock my account, it now says it is permanently locked. I am confused by these different lock statuses. Strangely, I was able to sign in to a friend's Snapchat using my credentials. Despite waiting months and trying everything suggested, I continue to face this problem. My Snapchat account, beastshaaz, has been hacked. The hacker changed the password and the linked phone number. I am unable to reset the password as the verification code goes to the hacker's number. The hacker is impersonating me, scamming others, and taking over their accounts. I urge Snapchat to either recover or delete my account to prevent further harm. Having a customer service phone line for verification purposes would be helpful in locking out unauthorized users immediately. Users should have options to claim their memories, delete, or recover their accounts for security reasons.

I created my Snapchat account in 7th grade, nearly 2 years ago, but now find it cringeworthy. Is it possible to change it? I understand the website states it's not allowed, but could you transfer my account details to a new one without losing friends or snapstreaks? I know it's for security, but renaming the account would be greatly appreciated. Maybe disabling the account for a short period to transfer data or doing it overnight could work. I'm uncomfortable sharing it due to its embarrassing nature and hope to change it soon. I'll provide the current and desired usernames once I hear back from the Snapchat team. Thank you. I recently received an email from Snapchat stating that someone had accessed my account from a location I wasn't in. When I tried to change my password, instead of allowing me to enter a new one, the system only provided suggested passwords, which I inadvertently accepted as my new password. Although my phone saved it in Touch ID, I am unable to recall it. I attempted to change it again, but the same issue recurred, and this time my phone did not save the new password. However, upon checking my conversation history, I found records of outgoing calls, completed calls, and chat sessions that I do not recall participating in. My girlfriend's previous Snapchat account, madz.batool, was hacked, possibly by her ex. Thinking it was a glitch, she created a new account. Disturbingly, her friends noted that her old account was posting selfies that weren't hers, as the hacker changed the email, phone number, and password. This invasion of privacy has us concerned about the personal content on the old account and the unknown individual using it. My account, Da_jack1, was locked a couple of days ago. I created a new one, jaquimez, to avoid losing 3 years' worth of pictures and memories. Unfortunately, my new account was locked as well. I created a third account, Jaquelyn_meza, which seemed to be working fine with all my friends and verification in place. However, when I checked on the website, my old account (da_jack1) was said to be unlocked. Upon logging back in, it was locked again. Subsequently, my new account (Jaquelyn_meza) also became locked. I find it frustrating to go through this process repeatedly as Snapchat is where I connect with most of my friends. It's disheartening that my accounts keep getting locked. Can you please help resolve this issue?

Could I request a verification code be sent to the provided phone number instead of the original? I am eager to recover my account as it holds significant memories with my family. I will offer two photo IDs, the verified phone number, and answer any account-related queries ahead of time. Since today, I have been unable to access my Snapchat account. Despite entering my information repeatedly, I keep receiving an error message stating the wrong password. I tried to reset my password via email, but it claims my email is invalid. When attempting to create a new account with the same email, it says it's already linked to another account. Even when trying to log in with my email, it continues to state the password is incorrect. I haven't changed my password, so I requested a reset, only to be told my email is invalid. While using Snapchat, someone with the username "Hotboy" asked to use my account to post without verifying their identity. Minutes later, I received messages informing me that my account had been hacked. The hacker was scamming people and posting pictures of money. Despite my attempts, I couldn't regain access to my account as the hacker had taken control. He is now engaging in unlawful activities using my account. I urgently request the account be deactivated within 24 hours; otherwise, I may involve law enforcement to seek assistance.

Dear Snapchat, I have been cyberbullied and blackmailed by an account named (marinellinick). The blackmailing has occurred on Snapchat and in real life. When I was younger, he manipulated me into saying hurtful things during a dark period. Regrettably, I complied with many of his requests. He has videos stored in his memories, and the thought of him potentially releasing them at any time, particularly as he is reminded annually by Snapchat memories, is deeply troubling. Any assistance in wiping his memories, specifically deleting a video from January 8th, [redacted], where he threatens me, would be greatly appreciated. Recently, my account "flaawlessdee" was hacked, and the hacker was sending inappropriate messages to people. I changed my password multiple times but still faced issues. Today, someone informed me that my Snapchat account was being misused to contact them. When I tried to recover my account using my linked email "[redacted]," it didn't work, indicating the hacker changed my details.
