I have been struggling to email Snapchat for over an hour now, and I am frustrated with the lack of support and difficult contact options available. My issue is that I am unable to post anything to my story on Snapchat at the moment. While I can send chats and snaps to others without any problems, for some reason, posting to my story is not working today. I have tried using different WiFi connections to rule out any network issues, logged out and back in, saved snaps to memories as they were failing to send, deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing seems to resolve the problem. Even when attempting to post a new photo, it continues to fail. This issue is causing me a great deal of distress, especially since all other aspects of the app seem to be functioning correctly. I wish there was an easier way to reach out to Snapchat for assistance.

My Snapchat account was hacked on Saturday, June 1st around 6 p.m. I unfortunately fell victim to a Cash App scam, and now I am unable to regain access to my account. The scammer has changed both my email address and phone number, making it challenging to reset my password. I have reached out to Snapchat support, and although they initially responded, I have not heard back from them since yesterday. Today, several of my friends have also fallen victim to scams and have lost access to their accounts. I have emailed Snapchat two additional times to update them on this ongoing issue. The scammer continues to utilize my account, and despite my friends reporting it for spam activity, no action has been taken. I am hoping for assistance in restoring access to my account.

Dear Snapchat team, I am writing to address some issues that I have encountered while using your app recently. There have been multiple glitches that have affected not only me but also many others that I know. One issue I have noticed is that when I post on my private story, it shows as if 0 people have viewed it, despite knowing that many have done so. This discrepancy is confusing and frustrating. Furthermore, I have experienced difficulties in posting content as the app often notifies me of failed attempts, even after checking my network connection. Lastly, I often receive notifications of snaps sent to me, but upon checking, I see that the snaps are not present. These inconsistencies have been bothersome and impact my user experience negatively. A few weeks ago, my Snapchat account was hacked, which was alarming. I got three concerning emails notifying me of the breach: 1) Notification about account access from an unfamiliar location (out of state) 2) Alert about the phone number on my account being changed 3) Notice regarding the email address on my account being changed I clicked the links provided in the emails to reset my password, but they seemed to be expired despite me attempting to use them promptly. Thankfully, my email account appears to be secure as I have added an additional layer of protection using Google Authenticator. I reached out to Snapchat support approximately two weeks ago seeking assistance, but unfortunately, they have been unresponsive. Their explanation that they cannot assist with security issues if access to the account is lost appears unreasonable. I believe they should have procedures in place for handling such common occurrences like hacked accounts. My primary goal is to regain access to my Snapchat account as soon as possible.

However, I have encountered difficulties with the app's lack of accessibility features, especially since I lost a significant portion of my vision in [redacted], leaving me with only peripheral vision. I rely heavily on accessibility settings to navigate applications, and unfortunately, Snapchat's current settings are not sufficient for my needs. My main challenge is with reading chats and text within the app. The screen zoom option is available but not very effective, making it challenging for me to fully enjoy the app. I urge you to consider implementing an accessibility feature that allows users to increase text size and customize fonts, particularly for chat messages. A feature similar to Apple's 'Larger Text' setting would greatly enhance the experience not only for me but also for other visually impaired individuals within the Snapchat community. Hello, I'm Savannah. Unfortunately, my Snapchat account was hacked. My friend, Riley, asked to log into my account for a personal reason, so I trusted her and agreed. However, I later discovered that my password was changed. Riley denied requesting access, as her account was also compromised. The hacker posed as her to trick me into logging in, then altered my account details. Losing memories, streaks, and conversations is disheartening. Around 8:30 pm on June 6th, while chatting with a former colleague on Snapchat, she requested my phone number for a verification code to access her account due to her phone being off. Little did I know, her account was hacked, and I fell into the trap. After sharing the verification code, I got logged out of my account. When attempting to log back in, I encountered a request for an authentication code, possibly used by the hacker to lock me out. Upon contacting the person, who I presumed was the colleague, through Facebook, I realized her account was compromised too. While she regained control, I'm still struggling to access mine. Multiple messages sent to my hacked account have gone unanswered. Despite reaching out to Snapchat support five times, I haven't received a response. The photos in my Memories hold significance, and I'm eager to regain access. Changing the password hasn't helped, as the clarification code is still required. I need help regaining access to my account that was hacked. The person who breached my account pretended to be a friend in need of messaging another friend they thought had blocked them. This individual altered the email, password, and phone number linked to my account. Despite my efforts to recover it, I've been unsuccessful. I'm completely locked out. I've been locked out of my old Snapchat account (username sadsquatch) for almost three years. I have been in touch with your support team every six months seeking a resolution, but due to legal issues, I couldn't provide details. Now that it's resolved, I can share more information. My ex-boyfriend became a stalker, physically abused me, and manipulated me. I had to change my phone number, linked to the account in question, multiple times. Unfortunately, I couldn't secure my account properly before losing access to it. Your recent privacy settings requiring two-factor authentication every time have made it harder for me to regain access. There are valuable memories like photos and videos on that account that I'd like to retrieve now that my safety isn't at risk. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could reach out to me. Hello Snapchat, I am experiencing a frustrating issue with your app. This morning, my boyfriend texted me, and although I received a notification, the text did not appear when I checked. Furthermore, it does not show that he opened my last message, even though he did. Interestingly, when I texted him, he received it and replied, but his response did not come through to me. I initially thought it was my data connection, but it seems to work fine for other apps like Instagram. When a friend texted me on Snapchat, I received it, but for some reason, messages from my boyfriend are not coming through. This situation is negatively impacting my relationship, as we rely on Snapchat for communication. I urge you to address and resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your understanding.

During the recent Snapchat outage, I got locked out of my account @kidcudichick. I reached out to Snapchat support on Twitter, but the assistance seemed automated. Despite having a recovery code, it's coming up as invalid, preventing me from accessing my 3-year-old account that holds precious photos of my newborn. The app being down is the cause of the lockout. I received a notification about a login attempt on my account from a different device. Following the instructions, I locked my account and proceeded to reset my password. Upon trying to log back in, I was prompted to enter a verification code from an authentication app, which I don't possess. I am unsure how to regain access to my Snapchat account since the email associated with it is incorrect, and I do not have an authentication app to provide the code.

Hello Team Snapchat, Yesterday, someone accessed my account without my knowledge and obtained the privacy code of my friend, allowing them to view my private snaps. My Snapchat account was hacked, and I can't access it anymore. The message says my account is compromised, and I believe the hacker deleted my email and phone number. My Snapchat account was hacked, and the hacker changed my password. The phone number linked to the account was also tampered with. Even though I used the same email for the new account, when I try to reset the password for the hacked account using my email, it only changes the password for the new account. I am seeking assistance to recover my old Snapchat account with all my contacts intact, as my new account was just temporary.

My Snapchat account was compromised after falling for a fake text that misrepresented itself as Snapchat. The hacker altered my phone number and disabled my two-factor authentication, creating a different recovery code. Despite reaching out to Snapchat through multiple emails and tweets to their support team, I have not received any assistance. It has been a full day since my last email, and my account remains in the hands of the hacker with all my personal information. I am unable to access my account through my phone number or email due to the changes made by the hacker.
