Hello, I'm Katherine. My Snapchat account (@katannehart) has been temporarily locked since yesterday morning when I woke up at 9:30am. It's been more than 24 hours now, and I am worried about my account and the lost snapstreaks. The lock seems related to a third-party app called FireStats that I briefly used before realizing it was a paid service and deleting it from my phone. Despite removing the app, my Snapchat account remains locked. I am unfamiliar with third-party apps and their restrictions. I have attempted to unlock my account through the Snapchat website unsuccessfully. I would greatly appreciate it if my account could be unlocked soon. Thank you.

Hello, I am Katherine and my Snapchat account (@katannehart) has been temporarily locked since yesterday morning. Despite the lock supposedly lasting no longer than 24 hours, it remains inaccessible over a day later. I suspect the lock was triggered by a third-party app named FireStats, which I briefly signed up for but promptly deleted upon learning about its fees. I have already lost snapstreaks due to this issue. Prior to this, I was unaware of the restrictions on third-party apps. I came across an advertisement on Snapchat and mistakenly downloaded what I thought was an official Snapchat feature. It turned out to be a third-party app, which was unfamiliar to me at the time. When the app prompted for my username and password, I became suspicious and checked its reviews. Finding only one review, I decided not to input my credentials and deleted the app. Subsequently, on May 4th, my Snapchat account got temporarily locked. Researching the app "Fire Stats," I discovered many negative reviews. The official Snapchat site mentioned a 12-hour lockout period for first-time offenders, but even after waiting for 27 hours, I still couldn't access my account. My username is brianna.sackman. I saw an ad on Snapchat, and thinking it was part of the platform, I unknowingly downloaded a third-party app due to my unfamiliarity with them. Upon installing it, the app requested my username and password, which raised suspicions for me. Checking the app store reviews, I found only one, leading me to delete the app instead of entering my credentials. Two days later, on May 4th, I found myself temporarily locked out of Snapchat. Researching the app "Fire Stats" revealed numerous negative reviews, contrary to what I had experienced. Following Snapchat's guidelines for the lockout, I waited 12 hours to regain access but unfortunately still couldn't log in after that time period. It has now been 27 hours, and I remain locked out despite this being my first occurrence. Seeking assistance, I hope Team Snapchat can assist in reinstating my account or providing an explanation. I am unable to access my old Snapchat account as I no longer have the same phone number or device. When attempting email recovery, I am linked to my daughter's account instead. Around August 10th, [redacted], I encountered issues with my phone causing Snapchat to log me out unexpectedly. Fearing unauthorized access, I used two-factor authentication but struggled with navigating the code generator. Unfortunately, not saving the new codes resulted in being unable to access my account when needed. It has been nearly 2 years since and I have misplaced the code. I encountered an issue with Snapchat on my iPhone this morning. Initially, everything was working well as I viewed snaps from friends. Unfortunately, later on, there was a glitch, and I was unexpectedly signed out. When attempting to log back in, I received a message stating my account had been temporarily blocked. It has now been more than twenty-four hours, and I am still unable to access my account. Despite following all the guidelines, refraining from sending inappropriate content, spamming, or using third-party apps, I cannot understand why this block occurred. The website's option to unlock the account was unsuccessful in processing my request. I am eager to regain access to my memories and reconnect with my friends. Though this situation has arisen previously, the resolution typically took only twelve hours.

My account was locked, and I didn’t violate any rules. I deleted the locked account and created a new one, but when my friend used my phone and I attempted to log back in, the new account got temporarily locked too, and I don't understand why. I would like Snapchat to help me recover either my old account with precious family photos or my new one. Losing those memories isn't fair, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could unlock either of the accounts. I am having trouble accessing my account. Though I haven't logged in for a while, I now wish to do so. I have been using the same passwords for my accounts for over a decade, so I am certain I have not forgotten it. I'm unsure if I linked an email address to the account, but I did connect my phone. However, the number associated with the account may be my old cellphone number. When I input my current number, I receive a generic error message. I would like to reset my password and am willing to provide any necessary information.

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and I am quite disappointed with the camera quality when using the Snapchat application. Samsung had promised a better integration with Snapchat, but the quality is still lacking. Moreover, the app lacks features that iPhone users enjoy, such as Portrait mode and the 'boomerang' feature.

I currently have an active Snapchat account, but due to some friends having access to my password, I decided to change it. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the new password and when attempting to reset it, I receive a message stating that the email is not recognized. Since I do not possess another email, I am confident that the account is registered under the one provided. My Snapchat account has been hacked, and private videos and pictures from my saved files are being posted without my permission. I had cherished memories of my grandparents who recently passed away on there. Despite numerous reports from family and friends, Snapchat has not taken down the account. I have emailed Snapchat and my mother has as well over 50 times with no response. This has caused me embarrassment and distress as my personal content continues to be shared without my consent. Hello, I have been using Snapchat for a while and recently updated the app, as I do occasionally. However, after the update, I noticed a change in the way my stories are saved to my memories. When I post 3-4 things on my story and try to save it, they are saved as individual snaps instead of as a whole collection. I prefer having my story saved as a complete collection for easy viewing but this feature seems to have disappeared on my Android Galaxy phone. I have tried various methods such as looking up hacks and contacting Snapchat customer service, but the information I found was limited or unhelpful. I have searched online using different keywords to find a solution but with no luck. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to find a solution on my own.

I am experiencing an issue when trying to add a community filter. When logged in, I can only see the 'Your name' and 'Description' fields, but the email field is missing. If I log out, the email field becomes visible, but when I try to submit, I am prompted to log in to view analytics later. After logging in, I encounter an error message asking for an email, even though the email field is no longer visible.

I had an account for a couple of years, and since then, I have renewed my email. I no longer use my old email at [redacted] My phone number remains the same. I had to upgrade my iPhone due to a recall on the 7s, and when I restored it, all my apps except Snapchat opened. My username is danayseesu. I opened a new account, thinking it would mention that the phone is associated with another account, but that did not happen. I have tried emailing for the last month, but no one has gotten back to me. Please help.

I have updated my phone number several times, but unfortunately, my Gmail account did not sync with my Snapchat. As I recently purchased a new phone with a new number, I urgently need to access my Snapchat account to preserve precious memories of my young son, especially after the recent loss of his father. I have only used my Snapchat account once since February. However, upon checking the account log, it shows multiple accesses that I did not make. I did not share my iCloud or Snapchat details with anyone, yet Snapchat was downloaded using an Apple device linked to my iCloud account, which I did not authorize. I am concerned about the unauthorized logins and activity on my Snapchat account. Can you please investigate and provide information about the location and device used during these unauthorized accesses?

I recently logged out of my account, but upon trying to log back in, I received a message stating my account had been temporarily deleted. Surprisingly, when I checked Snapchat support, it indicated that my account had been permanently deleted. I have not engaged in any improper activities and am confused about the reason for this action. Additionally, I attempted to create two new accounts, both of which were subsequently blocked. I have not utilized any third-party apps. I feel this situation is unjust and I am eager to resolve it so that I can continue using Snapchat without any issues.
