Despite the guidelines and rules in place, it takes an excessive amount of time for these accounts to be removed when reported, and they often reappear with backup accounts. This issue is troubling, especially considering the young user base of Snapchat. I suggest implementing additional security measures such as requiring PINs to access explicit content and accounts. Last night, I received a text from a random number requesting a code sent to my phone. I shared the code because they claimed it was a mistake, but then my account was logged out. After failed attempts to log in and reset the password, using their phone number, I contacted them for help. When that didn't work, I tried using my email to reset the password. Unfortunately, after attempting to log in, a message saying my account was compromised popped up, prompting me to contact support. Despite emailing them multiple times and following their verification process, which involved responding to a specific email line, my account remains locked for safety. It has been over 24 hours, and I am unsure of the next steps to resolve this issue.

Dear Sir, I am a Snapchat user with the username "cpluz_shrijayan." I had enabled two-step verification using Google Authenticator for a third-party app. Unfortunately, after resetting my phone and reinstalling all apps, I am unable to access the Snapchat authentication code. Hello, yesterday I contacted Snapchat support about a problem with losing a streak. My friend and I had a streak going for [redacted] days, requiring a lot of time and effort. We enjoy using Snapchat, so this loss came as a surprise. On 3/14/19 and 3/15/19, we faced issues with the app, which we thought were due to connection or server problems on their end. There was no timer or warning before our streak disappeared, despite snapping throughout the day. We are both really upset about this issue, as we have been diligent in keeping up with it daily. For the last three weeks, I've been unable to access my account. After changing my password on my computer, I verified it was correct by logging in successfully. However, when trying to log in on my phone using the app, it kept saying my password was incorrect. I reset my password via my phone and even after entering the code and changing it, I still couldn't log in on any device. I attempted to reset my password via phone number since I couldn't remember the email associated with my account (created in [redacted]), but the number didn't work on the app, only on my computer. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access my account, losing access to all my memories and messages. I've tried reaching out through the app store and support website without success, so I'm hoping for a resolution here.

Dear Snapchat, I am Jessica Whalen, 14 years old. I had been going about my day doing my streaks. I had just come from the gym, so I was wearing spandex and a sports bra. Despite being self-conscious about my body, I didn't mind because I thought only my friends could see it. However, I unknowingly followed an 18-year-old lesbian who took a screenshot of my picture. She then demanded nudes from me and threatened to share my photo online. Feeling scared, I complied. She saved all my videos and nudes, creating a threatening video. Now, she is pressuring me to do as she says or she will post the video online. She goes by the username @italenne, known as Disy, and involves her friend Flakie. Hello, I'm a teacher at Saaremaa Co-Educational Gymnasium. We are experiencing issues with the account "nicesyg" on Snapchat. Initially, the account engaged in direct harassment, targeting specific students with derogatory language. While we sought legal assistance, the lack of explicit threats hindered our progress. Although the account received a temporary suspension, it has resumed posting mocking content. It is imperative that we prevent "nicesyg" from misrepresenting our school. We believe Snapchat should permanently suspend this account. We have attempted to report the account within the app but have not received any feedback. How can we proceed to address this matter effectively?

A few weeks ago, my Snapchat was hacked, and the person behind it is pretending to be me to trick others into giving them money. They even called me demanding access to my confidential information, then blocked my number. Their area code doesn't match mine, making it difficult to determine where they are located. I need assistance either recovering my account, with all my cherished high school and family memories, or permanently shutting down the account to stop the impersonation. I am encountering multiple issues with my Google Pixel XL 1. This morning, I encountered a problem with Snapchat where the app crashed after a minute. My Snapchat account, iqraahmed_97, was hacked on 22/03/19, and the hacker changed the linked email. The original email associated with my account was [redacted] The hacker is using the email [redacted] I am unable to recover my account as both my Snapchat and original email have been compromised. Unfortunately, I can't reset my password via mobile as my number wasn't linked. The hacker is also threatening me and has access to personal photos. I've notified my friends to block and report the account to have it deleted. It's been 24 hours, and no action has been taken. I've involved the police, but I urgently need my account recovered or deleted due to the distress this situation is causing me.

My Snapchat account has been hacked. The perpetrator changed the password, email, and phone number associated with the account. I was logged in when they gained access and saw that they replayed all my past Snaps and messages, some of which are explicit and contain sensitive information like bank details, my address, and university information. I am worried they might try to hack into my phone using this data. Although the account is deactivated, I fear they could still have access. Is there a way to permanently delete the account to prevent them from posting my private content? I urgently need assistance in securing my account and preventing further intrusion. My younger sister's Snapchat account was banned due to past issues in January [redacted], and we changed her password to prevent her from accessing it on her phone. However, recently, I noticed that the account had been accessed, with streaks and messages opened. Since January, I have been unable to access my account despite multiple login attempts. The app claims my mobile number is not working, even though I have not changed it in the past 3-4 years. The number in question is [redacted]. Additionally, my email appears unverified when I try to use it for login purposes. Even after successfully changing my password, the app still rejects it and states it is incorrect. I recently changed phones and forgot my Snapchat password after having the same phone for three years. My username is leahd-x. This morning I got logged out, and now I can't log back in because it says my password or username is incorrect. My account was compromised when a friend requested my phone number for verification purposes, only to realize they were also hacked. I contacted Snapchat requesting help but they advised me to delete my account, which I am hesitant to do. I have evidence of the hacker's phone number, the email they changed on my account, and even their IP address. I can also provide all the details that were on my account prior to the breach. The hacker is engaging in fraudulent activities on my account, asking for sensitive information. I recently lost my number 1 best friend status with a close friend on Snapchat. We have been each other's top friends for about 8 months, and the pink hearts emoji that comes with this title means a lot to me. Losing this status has caused me emotional distress and trauma, especially because we have been exchanging snaps and messages more than with any other friends.
