I am dealing with a situation where a person I considered a friend saved videos of me without my consent. These videos were from last year, and despite me asking him to delete them, he still had them saved on his phone. I no longer trust him and feel violated by his actions. I am considering reporting him and have reached out to the police for advice. It is distressing to discover that even though I thought the videos were deleted, they were somehow recorded on Snapchat without my knowledge. I have been informed by friends through various means such as Snapchat, phone calls, and text messages that they have added me, but I am not receiving these notifications. I have attempted to delete photos and videos to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. I believe there may be another reason causing this problem. I recently got a new phone and attempted to log into my Snapchat account, but they required verification via a phone number I no longer have access to. Despite entering the correct email and password, the only option provided was to send a code to the old number. I was informed that nothing could be done and that I'd need to create a new account. I have valuable memories on that account, including photos of my late mother and our family trip to Disney. Losing them due to this policy is unacceptable. Snapchat needs to reconsider this flawed approach. I refuse to accept losing all my data as a solution, and I hope they can address this issue promptly.

My 13-year-old daughter received distressing messages late Saturday night into Sunday morning. The situation scared her immensely, leading us to almost involve the police immediately. After the individual called and hung up when my husband answered, he tried calling back with no response, eventually discontinuing contact with my daughter. We have documented the conversation with screenshots, evidencing the person deleting content upon mention of police involvement. A report has been filed with our local police department. I am willing to share this information and expect appropriate action to be taken. I lack knowledge of Snapchat and her specific account details but can retrieve them. It is likely that our local authorities will request access to her phone to aid in tracing the individual. This person also attempted to contact several of my daughter's friends.

I require assistance! I have been using my current phone number for over a year now. I recently purchased a new phone, and every time I try to log in to Snapchat, it requests my PREVIOUS phone number for login, which is from over 2 years ago. Even though I have all my Snapchat login details, they are sending a verification code to a phone number that is now active with someone else. I have many memories on my Snapchat account, and I cherish the app. I even attempted to switch back to my old number out of desperation to regain access to my account. Hello Snapchat, I have experienced issues with the location services on my phone. My BitMoji displays my location on a map and my last active time. Despite going to sleep at 9 PM, my friends have informed me that my location was showing miles away from my actual house while I was sleeping. Additionally, it indicates I am active when I am bed sleeping, even though I am not using the app. I am puzzled by why my Snapchat location occasionally places me in areas I have never visited, and why it shows me as active when I have been offline for hours. While the app is generally accurate when I am using it, the locations displayed when I am not on the app are unfamiliar to me.

I have a Snapchat account under the username "lyranight." I signed out to allow my niece to use her account, but I forgot my password when I tried to sign back in. There's someone named Danny Johnson who reached out to me on social media. He claims to be a student at the local school and around my age. Despite not showing his face, he solicited inappropriate photos and asked strange questions. Although I suspected a fake profile, he sent me explicit images. When he requested a photo of my buttocks, I provided a fake image. I find it odd that he made a new account to contact me directly, with a snap score of only 13.
