One year ago, I switched from Skype Go Bill to their monthly Skype Pro subscription, which includes unlimited calls within the USA. Despite cancelling the Go Bill, I noticed that Skype has been charging my credit card $10 per month and even multiple times in some cases. Recently, I received an annual renewal fee of $30 for Skype Pro. I am unsure why these charges are continuing. I am seeking a refund for the erroneous charges. I have a USA landline number [redacted] associated with this service. Please reach out to me via email so we can resolve this issue promptly. I am prepared to escalate this matter to Bank Of America if the charges are not reversed promptly. Thank you. - Graham K.

Dear Ebay, I am writing to address an issue regarding my order of the MFJ-269C with the nifty. I only intended to purchase 1 unit, and payment was made with my credit card. However, there seems to have been a mix-up as two messages were sent to the contact number of the credit card owner. Kindly, I request to cancel the additional unit and the corresponding payment for it. I wish to clarify that my intention was to only buy 1 unit. Thank you for your assistance. God bless.

Hello, I need help with my Skype account. I set it up a long time ago and forgot the password. The email and phone number associated with it are outdated, so I can't reset it. I can provide names of contacts and the profile picture to prove my identity. I hope you can assist me without needing to create a new account. Thank you.

I'm having trouble accessing my account. A warning message states that I can't access my account at the moment and that I will be able to do so once my security code updates on 4/23/19. I didn't request this change, and I want to keep my current security code. When I click on the hyperlinks to address this issue, it directs me to send a code to an incorrect email address from a previous job that is no longer active. Strangely, I can still log into my account using my current email, which is the only one associated with my account. When I tried to change my password, the code was sent to my correct email, but subsequent attempts to log in with the given code failed. I’m concerned that my account may have been compromised, as I can't even contact the Skype team. What should I do now?

I recently lost access to my Skype account, which had important contacts accumulated over many years. I had to reinstall Skype, but unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve my contacts. I also paid $5 for credit towards my account, which has not been credited. I am quite puzzled by these issues and frustrated with the recent poor performance of Skype. I have tried reaching out to the support team, but haven't received a satisfactory solution yet. How can I resolve these problems and restore my contacts while ensuring the credit is correctly added to my account?

I am having trouble accessing Skype. I contacted customer service at Microsoft, the parent company, for help. They advised me to download "GotoAssist" to share my personal information for troubleshooting on my MAC. Realizing this, I declined and removed both "GotoAssist" and Skype. I want to use Skype securely without risking my privacy. I need assistance to install Skype, confirm my password, show my online status, and initiate a video call to my daughter, also a Skype user. It's frustrating when Skype displays as unavailable even when my daughter is waiting for my call.

On April 18, [redacted], my Skype page wasn't working correctly. A popup insisted on me registering for Skype with no other options. After trying to refresh the page with the same result, I attempted to reset my password. I encountered issues due to outdated information, hindering the delivery of the code to my preferred email address used regularly by Skype and Microsoft contacts. I am missing important calls as a result. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I had trouble accessing my Skype account yesterday. While I remember my password, I'm unsure if it begins with a capital letter. During the login process, I was prompted to verify my identity through email. Unfortunately, the email connected to my Skype account is an old one used solely for Skype many years ago due to privacy concerns. I've refrained from providing my phone number as my ex-husband has tried to locate me online. I'm reaching out for assistance to contact a significant individual in my Skype contacts, Mehmet Özdemir. Among the contacts are users with names like BenimCanımOğuz, Kgb, Mehmet Özdemir, Sck, Ttt, Bulent Ceylan, and Yağmur Gözlüm. My Skype username is Perry_xox_perry. If anyone can help, please do so considering my current health condition as stress is particularly detrimental to me. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]3 I am a well-educated Turkish woman and am seeking help sincerely in a time of need.

Hello! I would like some help with my Skype account. Some time ago, I created the account using my old business email address from an organization I used to work for. Since then, I have left that job and changed the primary email address on my Skype profile to a Gmail account. However, whenever I try to reset my password or log in from a different country, all the notifications are still being sent to my old business email address. It seems like the old email address is still linked to my account even though I have removed it as the primary address. This is causing a problem as my old colleagues are still receiving notifications on an email address that I no longer use. I am unable to resolve this issue on my own because my current primary address is listed as Gmail, yet notifications are still being sent to the old address.

I am encountering the same issue with my account. I have been unable to cancel it with no human assistance. To work around this, I had to cancel my credit card. Despite not using Skype for nearly a year, I receive daily requests to update my billing information along with threats of account cancellation, which have not been followed through on. I have labeled these emails as spam in hopes of reducing the notifications. It appears the only way to cancel a Skype account is by canceling the credit or debit card linked to it, and then waiting for them to attempt to renew the subscription with the new card to mark their emails as spam. It has been 8 weeks since my account was due for renewal, and despite the continued requests to update billing information, I have not complied. I am optimistic that marking the emails as spam will prevent further notifications. Additionally, although some users mention a 'permanently delete subscription' button in the account settings, unfortunately, it is not available in my account.

My name is Donna J. I've had a Skype account under the number [redacted] for a while. However, when I logged in last year, the account appeared under the name Jenny V. I couldn't access my conversations. Recently, I received an email stating my 'Skype Number, 12-month subscription' is set to renew on Jun 5, [redacted], charging $39.00. I no longer require this subscription, but I'm unable to cancel it as the account displays a different name.

Hello, I recently received an email on my Gmail account regarding Skype credit associated with a Microsoft account that needs to be deactivated due to inactivity. Unfortunately, the recovery email address linked to this Microsoft account is not familiar to me. I realized that someone had used this account to add credit through my PayPal account last year, despite it not being associated with my usual Skype ID. It seems like there has been a misuse of their account, transferring money from my PayPal into theirs. I am concerned about the association of my email and PayPal accounts with this Microsoft account and the inability to reset its password due to a non-default recovery address. I am seeking assistance to address this issue, including a refund for any unauthorized transactions and the deactivation of the suspicious Microsoft account: live:yadav.chetan. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues accessing my account, username alband71. The system keeps asking for security information even after entering the correct credentials. The email addresses I used to create the account are no longer active. I updated the email addresses last time I logged in, replacing the old ones: ********@libero.it and [redacted] with [redacted] and [redacted] However, the system is still suggesting the old email addresses. I have tried the automatic recovery process multiple times unsuccessfully and cannot log in with the correct information. Please assist me in resolving this issue as I am unable to access my account. My mobile number is +[redacted]76, and you can contact me via email at either of the new addresses provided. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards, Andrea A.

I am currently unable to access my account. The account recovery options I have tried are outdated or not functioning. As a Military personnel serving overseas, my American phone number is inactive, and the recovery email listed is also no longer valid. Despite speaking with a live chat representative, who confirmed my correct email address wasn't showing as the primary one on the verification list, I was informed that only I could modify it. This situation leaves me unable to log in to my profile, posing a serious problem as my Skype number is vital while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Despite numerous attempts to provide detailed information on the verification forms, I have been unsuccessful. I am eager to verify my identity through a direct conversation if necessary to regain access to my account. I have been a long-time subscriber to this service and wish to resolve this matter promptly. The correct primary email is reportedly [redacted], as mentioned by the live chat representative without my initiative. My Skype username is Claedg2.

Hello Skype, I am currently experiencing an issue with my account that I created a few days ago for urgent international business calls happening today. I have followed your guidelines on why this may have happened, but it does not make sense as I have not used the account at all. I have definitely not violated any user agreements by phishing or any other suspicious activity. I am concerned about the security of my account and do not feel comfortable providing my cell phone number to rectify this issue. I believe my email should suffice for verification. This unexpected block has caused me to miss an important international call planned for weeks. I am disappointed with Skype's service and am considering looking for other alternatives.

Hello, I have a couple of questions to address: 1) Four months ago, I updated my Skype to a new version. Since then, I have been receiving a recurring message prompting me with the User Account Control dialogue box when trying to open Skype. It asks if I want to allow the program to make changes to the computer without giving me an option to open Skype without clicking "yes." Could this be a virus? 2) Lately, my Skype performance has been very poor, freezing during calls, causing issues with audio and call connections. Sometimes, there is no dial tone on my end while the person being called does not receive a call signal. These problems are making Skype usage frustrating. Your assistance is much appreciated. Thank you.

I recently received an email informing me that my account is set to renew for the United States unlimited minutes mobiles and landlines - yearly subscription on Jun 16, [redacted], with a charge of $30.50. However, upon checking my account, I cannot find any active subscription, and I do not wish to be charged as I do not use Skype. I believe I had closed this account previously and would like to avoid any further notifications and charges. Kindly cancel this subscription and cease any renewal notifications. Thank you.

I am seeking guidance on which product to use: Residing in NJ, I have booked a 1-week cruise departing from NYC to Bermuda. During the cruise, I will have access to an internet package offered on the ship. I anticipate needing to have daily phone calls of approximately 2 to 3 hours, with an hour dedicated to participating in a meeting on "freeConferenceCall.com." I am interested in knowing if I can accomplish this through Skype or if WhatsApp or a similar application would be more suitable. The devices I will have with me are an iPhone 7 (running on version 7.0.2 11A501) and a MacBook Air (running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5).

Dear Skype, I am writing to report an issue with the charges on our recent calls made through Skype phone service from Anguilla to Grand Cayman. Even though our calls were brief, my husband was consistently billed US$10.00 per call, resulting in a total charge of US$[redacted].00 for 20 calls on our credit card. We have been loyal users of Skype for years without any problems, and this sudden discrepancy has left us puzzled. Despite trying to contact customer service via email, the message was returned as undeliverable. We have auto-renew set up for US$10.00 per call, but the charges seem unusually high for short conversations. We would appreciate assistance in understanding the details of these charges and how we can resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Aileen I. M Smith
