It's been a while since I last logged into my Hotmail account. I'm trying to access my Skype chat history, but I've forgotten my password. Unfortunately, I can't reset the password since my Hotmail doesn't have my current phone number for verification. Could someone please help me retrieve my Skype account and let me know if my old chat history is still accessible? Thanks for your assistance. Hotmail account: [redacted] Skype account: mun.ee89

Hello, I'm Cyndy B. I'm facing an issue with multiple Skype accounts that I can't access and wish to delete. Over the years, I accumulated these accounts due to my old phones storing login details, leading to forgotten credentials. I currently use "cyndy.basas3" and want to keep it. However, the other accounts cause confusion when people search for me on Skype. I'd appreciate it if the older accounts could be removed as I no longer need them. The cycle of forgetting credentials when switching phones caused me to create new accounts. Now, I'm unsure how to proceed with deleting the extra accounts.

I purchased credit years ago when Skype was still independent. Back then, getting a refund was easy. Now, with Microsoft, the process is slow and complicated. I would like a refund to my PayPal account, as originally promised, or have the credit transferred to my primary Skype account. My email is [redacted] I've had enough of Microsoft's unhelpful and greedy approach. I plan to return my laptop with Windows 10, cancel my Office [redacted] trial, and switch to Apple or Google. It's time to treat consumers with respect. The lack of a customer service phone number is disappointing. Look at Amazon's customer service for a better example. My phone number is [redacted] if you want to have a constructive conversation. Very disappointed with the current situation. Thank you, Bob Glik.

I suspect I was scammed on 6/28/18. There were unauthorized charges on my account totaling $82.76. I was promised a refund by someone claiming to be from TeamViewer and requested my card details for a fund transfer, assuring me it was not a purchase. The email addresses that were used might be either [redacted] or [redacted] I have since blocked my card and wish to cancel any services related to this incident immediately. I demand that the charges be reversed. An urgent response regarding the actions being taken would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I use a Mac computer to Skype with my daughter every week for the past five years without any issues. However, last Saturday, instead of the usual Skype page, I was prompted to set up a Microsoft account which I cancelled as I am using a Mac. I can no longer access the familiar Skype screen to connect with my family. I have tried various links on Skype.com and sought assistance from the help center to no avail. Apple tech support couldn't assist as this is related to Skype. I am willing to create a new Skype account for Mac, but I keep being redirected to the Microsoft website.

I received an email on July 4th informing me that I must reactivate my Skype account to avoid losing my credit. My Skype username is jimenacampos, and my email address is [redacted] The email mentioned that I have $6.17 credit in my account and that I had less than 7 days to reactivate by making a call, sending an SMS, or purchasing a Skype number or subscription. However, when attempting to make a call, I realized that I do not have sufficient funds. I am puzzled by this situation and would like to know the whereabouts of my $6.17 Canadian credit. Thank you. - J.C.

I attempted to dispute the $2.99 charge on my bank account and dialed 1-[redacted], where the individual claimed to be from Skype. He mentioned activity in my account ongoing for months which I denied. He alleged parties in Russia and the US were involved, which I refuted. He stated the accounts were blocked and offered to send a transaction summary via email from his Hotmail. I never received the email. When I confirmed my email, another person named Alex joined in, warning that my account was hacked and suggested cyperexpertpro.com for $99 to address it. Not finding the company online, I disconnected after a delay. I have visited my bank to stop the $2.99 charge and am wary of sharing my credit card details. I've been unable to locate a Skype contact number. Currently, I simply desire to uninstall Skype, halt the charges, and have a genuine Skype representative investigate the US and Russia account issue. Thank you.

I have been using Skype for many years, at least since [redacted]. My account name is anthonyfontenot. Recently, I received an update for Skype/Microsoft, and after updating Skype, I was asked to sign into a Microsoft account. I signed in using my email [redacted] I was prompted for a password, which I didn't know, so I created a new one. Upon logging in, I realized that none of my contacts are showing in this account. My old Skype account is still active on my cell phone, where I can access all of my contacts. I need help accessing my old account on my computer because I can't remember which email I used back in [redacted] when I first opened the Skype account. It might have been with the old account [redacted], which I no longer have access to. I would appreciate assistance in re-establishing my Skype account on my computer to regain access to all my contacts. Thank you. - Anthony Fontenot

I recently upgraded to the new version of Skype and have noticed some missing features from the older version that I valued: 1. I used to be able to set my status as 'Away' or 'Call Forwarded' with specific icons in the old version. The new version lacks this option, and I am unable to see when my contacts use these statuses. 2. In the old version, I could see the precise date and time when my contacts were last online. This feature seems to be absent in the new version. Is there a way to customize or access these functionalities in the new version of Skype? Your help would be appreciated.

I am unable to access the $9.90 in my Skype account. I received a notification stating that my credit will become inactive in 7 days. It seems I haven't used any credit recently, and it will be inactive if not used in [redacted] days. To reactivate it, I just need to sign into my Skype account online and follow the instructions. To keep the balance active, I can either make a phone call, send an SMS message, or make a purchase using my Skype Credit. My Skype Name is tsai.hueichu, and my current balance is $9.97. Thank you.

I have been added to a Skype chat group without my permission, and it has been quite frustrating. The majority of the members are scammers, and despite my requests, they keep messaging me. It seems like this issue is happening to others as well. I receive scam messages daily. How can I leave this chat group? Why does Skype/Microsoft permit scammers to use their platform? It feels like Microsoft is linked to fraudulent activities. Should I close my Skype account? Please advise.

I've heard from a lot of people that the free Skype service has been experiencing poor reception lately, unlike the quality service it used to provide. I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States, and my girlfriend is from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We often experience very poor signal during our calls. While there might be reasons for this, I would prefer not to make excuses. Before subscribing, I would like to know if there is any guarantee for a perfect audio and video connection or the option of a refund or service extension for the month if the service is not satisfactory. If there is no such guarantee, I may reconsider subscribing. Additionally, I am curious if having my girlfriend as a paying subscriber is necessary to ensure a crystal clear connection without distortion, lag time, or buffering issues.

I'm frustrated with the lack of customer service provided by the phone service. It's absurd not to have a phone number for support. Recently, after updating Skype, I'm experiencing audio issues during my phone calls. This problem impacts my work, where I frequently interact with insurance companies. Normally, I should hear voice recordings right away, but now there's complete silence. Even when dialing home or cell phone numbers, there's no ringing sound. The calls show as connecting, but I can't hear anything. I'm unsure if it's a setting problem or a larger technical issue. I need a solution to this problem promptly. Sincerely, K. Feil

I have been struggling for over a week to log into my Skype account. I have been a subscriber for many years, and last week I was prompted to input my password, something I have not encountered before. Unfortunately, my password was not accepted, and despite multiple attempts to reset it following the on-screen guidelines, I have been unsuccessful. This morning, I spent close to two hours speaking with one of your team members who advised me to complete an account recovery form, which unfortunately was also declined. I am becoming increasingly frustrated and hope for assistance to resolve this issue. Please reach out to me via email or, if possible, a phone call at +34 [redacted]40. I eagerly await your response. Thank you, Steve Wooster.

I have been using Skype for a decade now. Last night, I updated to the newest version, which unexpectedly signed me out, and I now can't recall my password. I attempted the account recovery process without success. Oddly, it's now requesting my Microsoft account password, which I've never had. I even tried restoring my computer to an earlier point, but with no luck. Could someone assist me in regaining access to my Skype account, please?

While using Skype, I encountered someone pretending to be Harry Styles, a celebrity I admire. This imposter, who appeared convincing by providing details Skype typically asks for, asked me to join a video call. Unfortunately, during the call, the individual exposed inappropriate content. As a 13-year-old girl, this was distressing. I swiftly disconnected. Subsequently, the imposter requested inappropriate images from me. This experience was alarming and has taught me to only connect with people I know on the platform. I urge the community to take action against this imposter, as I fear for other unsuspecting individuals, especially young girls, who may fall victim to such behavior.

I am disappointed with the new Skype service. Money is being deducted from my credit card to my Skype account without my knowledge, even when I am not using it. Today, I tried to make a call to Ukraine and found out my account was blocked, despite having a balance of $7. No explanation was given for why my account was blocked. I am frustrated with the lack of customer support from Skype. I am requesting a refund of my money and an explanation for the account block. It seems unfair that Skype can deduct money but not provide proper services or support. Kindly refund my money and address the account block issue promptly. Thank you.

Hello, I am experiencing issues with my Skype status showing incorrectly when set to invisible. Additionally, during video calls, there are problems with unmuting the sound or showing the video icon. Sometimes my camera works but later Skype cannot identify it. The voice test works sporadically too. I find that this version of Skype is not as reliable as previous versions. Can someone please provide assistance with these concerns? Thank you.
