Please read the problem. It tells what I was trying to do. ... I have a Mac. Once a week for five years I have clicked on the Skype icon, and waited for my daughter to call. We have Skyped as far away as Chicago to Rio de Janeiro without any problem. Last Saturday when I clicked on Skype, I didn't get the page with the "video" icon to click on when she called. I got a blue background screen that said I had to set up a Microsoft account. I did, but then I cancelled it because I have a Mac. I can't get the Skype screen that I have had all these years, so I won't be able to see my grandchild. None of the links on Skype.com has helped me. The help center hasn't helped. I called Apple tech support, but they don't deal with Skype. I will be happy to set up another Skype for Mac account, but I keep getting the Microsoft website.
If I had the proper instructions for a Skype of Mac, I could fix the problem, but I keep getting sent to Microsoft which take about Microsoft accounts.
