Help with my Sixt Rent A Car issue

The issue in GetHuman-legacypa's own words
I made a reservation for a rental to take place from ****-*** of this year. I need the car to go to my best friends wedding in Oregon. I read all the terms and conditions thoroughly and found that rentals from CA are allowed to travel to several states that border CA, including OR and placed the rental.**Recently another rental car company told me that SIXT does not allow local renters to take the cars out of CA. I tried to contact SIXT several different ways to no avail, then was able to reach them through Facebook messenger. They told me I could take the car to OR, then I could not, then I could, and finally I could not. This took ME asking them repeatedly the same question to finally get an answer I am still unsure of. I then got a hold of someone through their email that stated that I could not cancel my rental without paying about half, which is in the contract, but that they may be able to help me reschedule. I do not agree to pay half of the cost of the rental when these policies are not expressed anywhere in my paperwork or on their website that I have seen. I have emailed them asking for help several times and they will not respond past their first, we may be able to help you rebook response. It is more than ** days before my rental starts but I need this taken care of now to avoid paying higher prices if I am forced to rebook with them or anyone else. I would really like a full refund at this point. Thank you for any help or advice.
