I purchased * memberships in July of this year. I went to sixflgs Oct *th and had upgraded my membership from premium to diamond elite in Saint Louis. I was told that I didn’t need to do anything else and was told I would be given reimbursement for the amount I had paid on the premium that I was just charged for a week before upgrading. I ask the young lady multiple times “ so I won’t be charged for the previous membership anymore” she stated no you will receive a check in the mail. She was very unprofessional along with a horrible attitude, I was very surprised to see the level of unprofessionalism working in customer service. As I am scrolling through my bank charges this morning I discover a $**.** charge from sixflags. I knew that it was incorrect due to the date and the amount of the new membership. My new membership was suppose to be $**, because I had removed the * flash passes from both accounts due to the limitations of its uses since we travel to different sixflags. I don’t live close to a sixflags so it’s always a planned trip. I really feel like as a customer that I have been taken advantage of personally and financially. You may say will fix this in the form of a offer or send a check in ** days. Due to the way I am feeling at the moment my card will be canceled and replaced. You may say well this will affect your credit score and yes it may, but I have a planned bankruptcy for mid November. The Saint Louis trio was very disappointing. I didn’t not meet a friendly sole in sight. Customer service was absent through out the entire park. I understand it gets rough making everyone happy. Personally I’m a nurse and understand for me I have been spit on hit and told to go to **** along with a lot worse situations and still I have to smile and get ***% with patient care. So very rarely I give pity to someone that works in customer service and they feel as though they should be rude when a customer feels agitated and yes I did feel very agitated. I will never take a trip to that six flags again. My point being is I shouldn’t have to wait for my money to be refunded to me when the transaction should of never happened. I have bills and a family to support and do not have time to listen to someone tell me well this is what I can do give you a free this or send a check that arrives in * weeks to * months. In my opinion I feel like I was stolen from. Please put yourself in my shoes and understand this was not ok and you know yourself if someone took money that didn’t belong to them you would be upset as well.
