The issue in GetHuman-tfoote's own words
I am trying to recover my lifetime subscription canceled by Sirius three years ago apparently by their error. I should also be reimbursed for the many months I have paid for due to Sirius error. In addition, I will pay for a new subscription for an additional vehicle. That would mean I continue to pay for the current subscription n addition to having my lifetime subscription (paid for several years ago) on the primary vehicle ... I just became aware my lifetime subscription had been terminated by a “dealer” when I traded my **** Cruze for a **** Cruze. At that time I contacted Sirius to transfer my lifetime subscription to the **** Cruze and was told BY Sirius it could not be transferred again and if I wanted to continue with Sirius I would have to go to the regular payment subscription. I was told my lifetime subscription was then truncated by Sirius at that time. This is a travesty. My lifetime subscription is in your records as I was just informed by your customer service. I was attempting to add another automobile to go along with the one I already have with Sirius. His is when I was made aware of all of the money has collected from me when your accounting knew I had already paid for a lifetime subscription. **I’m sorry, but this is very upsetting and I would request you reinstate my lifetime subscription and refund the money I have been paying since Sirius tossed my subscription. The correct thing to do is to reinstate my lifetime subscription on the **** Cruze (and any auto I trade that car for from now on) then begin ANOTHER subscription on a second vehicle I just purchased today. They cancelled my lifetime subscription on the word of a car dealer when I traded for the current vehicle. I was never made aware this was the reason for losing my lifetime subscription. Sirius told me at the time of cancellation they no longer honored the lifetime subscriptions. I questioned that but they told me the merger with XM eliminated all lifetime subscriptions.**Still doesn’t sound right or fair to me. I just found out last week from Sirius phone support that my lifetime subscription is still valid but must be activated by corporate. Support told me they couldn’t do anything from there.
Restore my lifetime subscription to my **** Cruze and issue an addition subscription for my **** GMC Acadia. I will gladly pay monthly for the new subscription but I still should have my lifetime subscription restored.
