I purchased the Futura Quintet 5-in-1 embroidery machine back in [redacted]. I used it for a small embroidery project back then, which worked well. Unfortunately, due to my husband's illness, I haven't had the chance to use it until this week. When I tried to use it recently, I encountered an issue where the machine is locked due to a thread entanglement with the bobbin case or interrupted rotation. I've tried several troubleshooting steps such as oiling, cleaning, rethreading multiple times with different threads, using new bobbins and needles, but nothing seems to resolve the problem. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the program and purchased a new USB cord. It looks like the issue might be related to the computer program. I'm unsure if I should send it somewhere for repairs. Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated as the machine is currently unable to embroider or even sew normally.

I bought a serger 14T968DC Professional 5 Thread Serger around 5 months back. Unfortunately, the machine came without the knife cover, item 13 on page 9 of the instruction book. As a result, I am only able to do a coverstitch with it. I intended to utilize all of its features, but without this part, it's not possible. I have searched extensively for a dealer or parts supplier that stocks this piece, but it seems unavailable everywhere. I am frustrated that a crucial part was omitted from the product, and there seems to be no way to acquire it. I hope this matter can be addressed, and I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Hello, I am not the best at typing, but I have an old, black sewing machine with a silver light on the front. It only has one stitch available, and it comes with a zipper foot, bobbins, and a box of extras, all in prime mint condition. The model number from the manual is [redacted].83, and I wonder if this means it was the 83rd machine made. The manual is also in mint condition in its original envelope. My name is Jim, and you can reach me at [redacted] I will send you pictures with the model and serial number. Can you provide me with more information about this machine based on these details? Thank you and have a good day.

I recently bought a Singer Heavy Duty model [redacted] and have used it a few times. While sewing on bias binding today, I noticed the needle position shifted and now remains on the left side instead of the middle. Adjusting the gauge on the machine no longer moves the needle. I am seeking assistance with this issue. Thank you. I attempted to contact the support desk but received conflicting information about their hours of operation. Despite calling well before their 4:00 pm CT closing time, there was no answer at 3:15 pm CT. This experience has left me a bit surprised, especially as a new Singer customer after owning a Kenmore machine for over 50 years. - Linda W.

Subject: Inquiry about Singer Even Feed Presser Foot Replacement Part Hello, I recently bought the Singer Even Feed Presser Foot and find it incredibly useful for working with slippery fabrics like minky. Unfortunately, the white plastic piece that helps hold the presser foot in place broke while I was sewing. I've attempted to fix it with glue, but it keeps breaking. Could you please advise me on how to obtain a replacement part for this small piece? I prefer not to purchase a new presser foot when only the plastic tab is damaged. Thank you.

Hello, My name is Brenda Hayes, and I own a Singer [redacted] sewing machine with serial number ZHC[redacted]83. I purchased this machine at Hancock Fabrics in Tinley Park, IL, some time ago but only recently started using it in February. I encountered an issue where the machine made a sound as if it wanted to move but wouldn't, and the hand wheel is tight and has limited movement. I need my machine urgently for upcoming assignments with deadlines next week and hope this is a quick fix. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

I own a Singer model #[redacted] sewing machine, which I've only used a few times. Recently, when I went to repair an item, I discovered that the storage case near the needle was empty. I suspect that I may have taken the machine to my daughter's house, who lives four hours away, but she hasn't found the plastic bag that held all the attachments, bobbins, and the seam ripper - many of which are brand new. Currently, I had to use my only bobbin to switch thread colors. Is there a way for me to purchase the entire bag of accessories instead of buying each item separately? I used to be a Home Economics teacher and have always been a loyal customer of SINGER, both professionally and personally. Thank you for your assistance.

I purchased a Singer Featherweight C240 at Joann's in St. Petersburg, FL on February 15, [redacted]. I was shown a demo machine that seemed impressive with its capabilities. However, after further research online, I discovered that the machine I bought does not have the same functions as the demo. I want to return it, but the store's policy only allows returns within 10 days. I found out that Singer accepts returns up to 30 days, so I am reaching out for assistance. Here are the details from my receipt: Name: Serena J. Schwab Purchase Date: 2/15/19 Store: Sewing Gallery, Joann Fabrics, St. Petersburg, FL Phone: [redacted] Salesperson: Barbara White Customer ID: [redacted][redacted] Item: C240 Featherweight Total: $[redacted].99 Payment Method: American Express Return Policy: Within 10 days to Viking Sewing Gallery I unpacked the machine to check it and realized it's not what I wanted. Today is 2/27/19. Please advise on returning the machine. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Serena J. Schwab

A few months ago, I bought what I believed to be a Singer Quantum Stylist [redacted], brand new in its brown cardboard box with the machine's picture on it. I got it as a birthday gift for my niece. I'm unsure if the brown box means it's refurbished or not. I heard there might be two versions of the "[redacted]" model, one with a turquoise design on the front. My niece said hers won't power on. Since I got it a while back during a sale, I can't return it to the store now. Is there a manufacturer's warranty? What can I do to get it fixed or get a refund? Thanks for any guidance. - S. McGill

I purchased a Futura Quartet SEQS-[redacted] machine several years ago. Unfortunately, it never embroidered correctly from the start. After having it for only two months, I had to send it to a repair shop. They claimed they put in a new motherboard, but the issues persisted. I contacted the main company in Tennessee, sent it in once again, and it worked fine when it came back. However, the problems resurfaced after a short while. I even tried different brands of thread with no success - loops and nesting continued to be a problem. Eventually, I gave up and bought a different brand of machine, which worked perfectly. I recently decided to give the Singer machine another chance, but it's still causing issues - loops, nesting, and uneven stitches. The tension disc doesn't move when adjusting the tension knob. The only way I can get somewhat decent results is by manually guiding the thread while embroidering. It's frustrating and unreliable.

I bought a Singer Modern Quilter 8500Q at Joann's in Corona, CA on 5/5/16. I haven't used it much since I'm busy with work and home chores. The machine is well-kept with a plastic cover to avoid dust. OC Sewing & Vacuum in Garden Grove can confirm its condition. Currently, OC Sewing is looking at it due to an electronic error 1 related to the bobbin case. The technician noted the wheel being stuck causing the sudden sewing stoppage. I'm waiting to hear more from them. OC Sewing is reputable with 35 years of experience. You can contact them for updates. Best, Edith Tilley

Dear Singer, I am currently using a [redacted]/[redacted] sewing machine for my small home business making rag dolls on Etsy. I typically wear out sewing machines every 5 years, so I plan to purchase a new one in the near future. I am satisfied with my current machine, but I have a few suggestions for improvements on the next model: 1. A quieter motor, similar to what Brother offers, and 2. A way to hold a large spool of thread on the top, such as a spool holder that can be pulled upright. These changes would make a big difference for me as I go through a lot of thread throughout the day. I prefer simple machines, but these adjustments would greatly benefit my work. I look forward to visiting your stores in a couple of years in the hopes of finding these features in your future models. Thank you, Paula

My husband and I purchased a Singer Confidence Sewing machine for our older daughter, based on the sales lady's recommendation. Our daughter is a talented seamstress who designed and sewed beautiful ball gowns for the Bloomington Nutcracker Ballet. Unfortunately, she was in a car accident on 35w and had to undergo neck fusion surgery, hindering her sewing activities. We wanted to gift her a new sewing machine for Christmas, as her current one needed repairs after the accident. I visited Singer in JoAnn's to inquire about trading it in but was met with a rude sales lady. Despite misplacing the receipt, I have the original box. I hope Singer can assist in exchanging her machine to support her passion for sewing. Thank you for any help you can provide. - J. Carney

I purchased a Brilliance sewing machine at Lidl in the UK less than a year ago with the receipt. I have encountered an error message C4 after using it only twice. Despite consulting the manual and troubleshooting websites, the issue persists as the thread gathers in clumps. As a seasoned sewer of over 25 years, this is my first new machine that keeps breaking down. I would like a refund for my purchase.

I reside in Calgary, AB, Canada, and recently received a Quantum Stylist [redacted] sewing machine as a gift. Unfortunately, the feed dogs are not moving all the way up. Upon contacting the local authorized repair shop, GPO Serger and Sewing Machine Repairs at [redacted]0, I was instructed to drop off the machine at a dry cleaners/postal office establishment. However, the dry cleaners refuse to provide a receipt for my sewing machine, leaving me without proof of drop-off. Jerry at GPO suggested shipping the machine at my own cost, which I find unreasonable for a defective product. I am hesitant to incur expenses returning it to the States as well. I seek alternative solutions in Calgary and possibly urge them to issue a receipt. I appreciate any assistance or suggestions to address this matter. Thank you. - Carmen

I recently purchased the Singer Tradition [redacted], but I'm having some issues with it. I set it up and started sewing, but it keeps getting jammed after a few minutes. I've tried rethreading it, but the needle is now stuck in the bobbin compartment. When I remove the bobbin case and race hook, the needle moves freely, but once I put it back together, it gets locked again. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a Singer Sewing Machine, Stylist [redacted], from JoAnn Fabrics. Unfortunately, upon unpacking it, I realized there were no attachments, not even a pressure foot. I returned it and got a replacement, but this time there were no manuals or paperwork to help me operate it. Although the attachments were there this time, not having the necessary instructions hinders me from using the machine effectively. I understand I can find a copy of the manual online, but I expected everything to be included in the box for the price I paid. It's disappointing that I currently can't use the sewing machine, and it's just collecting dust. I believe the company should rectify this by sending me the missing items that should have come with the original purchase.

I have only used my sewing machine once or twice, and initially, it worked fine. However, now whenever I attempt to thread the upper part down to the bobbin, it gets tangled across it. I contacted Singer Customer Service, and following their advice, I cleaned the machine, replaced the needle, bobbin, and thread as suggested. Despite these efforts, the upper thread is still getting tangled in the bobbin. I have tried various troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Is there any other solution I can try to resolve this problem?

I recently purchased a Singer Fashion Mate from Walmart a few weeks ago. I opened the box recently, used the machine only 3 times, and on the fourth attempt, the display is showing 2 backward Cs and the machine won't sew anymore. I'm frustrated and disappointed as the product didn't come with a User's Manual. I am struggling to get help from Walmart to address this issue. I would like a replacement machine quickly as I am falling behind on my sewing project. I had a positive experience with a Bernina machine that lasted for almost 2 decades, but now I am extremely upset with the Singer machine's performance and Walmart's lack of assistance. I am finding it impossible to reach a person for help and feel inconvenienced. I am not willing to return the faulty machine to Walmart during a pandemic to find out they have no replacements in stock. I expect prompt communication and a replacement machine with a manual. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate my concerns to your company's leadership and share my dissatisfaction on social media.

I am currently facing issues with my new machine, model [redacted]. It is very loud, with thread bunching up and skipping stitches. After taking it to the repair person, I received it back after 2 weeks, but unfortunately, the problems persist. The handwheel now binds up when turning, indicating further issues. Lack of communication during the repair process has left me feeling uncertain. Despite reaching out to customer service with multiple emails and providing request IDs [redacted] and [redacted], it has been over two months since I've had a working sewing machine. I kindly request a refund or replacement by June 2, [redacted]. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Patricia L.
