My pvr stopped working after a power outage. * different Shaw agents insist I need an active cable subscription to see the old stuff I have on it, and if I was able to access it last week (and for the last year) I must have been stealing cable. I explained to each of them that I BOUGHT the pvr from them and made a special request to be able to access what I’d already paid for, and their agent was able to accommodate me without giving me access to any channels. They accused me of lying as “that’s impossible without a subscription.” So even though I’ve been a loyal, pay-everything-on-time customer for * years, apparently it’s ok to call me a liar and a thief. And to refuse to let me talk to a manager, and to either transfer me to a department that doesn’t answer the phone or hang up on me.
GetHuman3846194 did not yet indicate what Shaw Communications should do to make this right.
