SelectComfort.com Customer Service Issues

I received my mattress on Tuesday, 2-18-[redacted]. Initially, everything was working fine. However, today, Sunday 2-23-[redacted], I tried to adjust my side but found that my remote control was warm to the touch and completely unresponsive. The remote does not light up or control the pump when I press the up and down arrows. Despite resetting the power strip that the pump is plugged into, the remote remains non-functional. The pump does make a noise when the power strip is turned off and on, indicating it is receiving power. I've only had the mattress for 5 days. I recently purchased additional components for my expanded queen mattress, but experienced issues with the end walls being too short. Despite receiving a replacement part, it was also incorrect. Customer service was unable to resolve the problem due to communication issues with the factory. I am disappointed in the lack of assistance and the only solution offered was to modify the parts myself. This experience has left me frustrated after spending $[redacted].68 on the order. Improved internal communication is necessary to prevent similar issues in the future.
