I ordered a Kenmore Elite washer and dryer for my new home. They were installed on Friday, March *. *On Friday evening, I used both. I ran the washer on "Cold Clean" and the clothes were hot (not just warm) when I opened the door. I can't imagine why. I set it on "Cold" so that my clothes won't shrink! Why would they be hot??**But, I digress. The dryer DID NOT DRY MY CLOTHES!! I had to run the dryer FOUR times before my clothes were MOSTLY dry (THEY never felt hot) and I used different settings each time!!**I called and made an appointment to have a service technician out to my home. I was given a *p-*p appointment window on March **th (today).**After making the appointment, I called back again to let the person with whom I spoke know two important things:**. that the washer*dryer were stacked and housed in a very small area -- I HAD TO CLIMB UP ON TOP OF THE WASHER TO HOOK UP THE VENT HOSE AND TO PLUG THE DRYER IN BECAUSE THE DELIVERY MEN WERE TOO BIG TO FIT IN -- and that it was NOT going to be easy to get to the back of the dryer.***. That I had a FUNERAL to go to at *pm today.**At *pm today (after using chat to find out when my service tech would be at my home and to reiterate that I had to go to a FUNERAL), I got a call from a dispatcher, asking if I would be home from *p-*p TOMORROW because they needed TWO men for the repair visit!!! WHAT???**First of all, that I need to have anyone out for BRAND NEW, EXPENSIVE appliances is TOTALLY ridiculous!! Second, WHY WERE TWO PEOPLE NOT REQUESTED ORIGINALLY?? Third, WHY DID SOMEONE CALL ME AT *pm when the end of the service window was *pm???**I called to complain and spoke with a "supervisor" who offered me some "Shop Your Way Points" for my "inconvenience." REALLY??? I already have $*** in SYW Points that I do not care to use -- you have failed me in SO many ways!!**Not to mention that I ordered drapes from one of your terrible "Marketplace" retailers ("GoLinens") and they sent me the WRONG SIZE and now they won't respond to my inquiries!! AND their website has a sham contact number and there's NO way to contact them!!**I want to know what Sears is going to do to make EVERYTHING right for me!!
