I have been having great difficulty in having a new refrigerator delivered. The online order staff reviewed the measurements of the appliance against the measurements of my doorway and assured me "all the delivery staff needs is ***" clearance". The first time the delivery team came they were very rude and insisted the appliance would not fit. I called the store back and was told they would return in a few days and take the appliance door off. The team was even ruder the second time and told me it was my responsibility to tell them ahead of time if I needed to have the door removed to get it into the house. They left without even letting me know they were leaving. I have now selected a smaller model because I have now been * weeks without a refrigerator and cannot risk any more issues with this delivery. Today I called to confirm they knew the door on the new appliance had to be removed and the old Sears refrigerator would also have to have the door removed to get it out. I was told they absolutely would not remove the doors to get the old appliance out. I advised them they had to remove them to get them into the house, how did they expect a senior citizen to get it out. I was told that I should find a friend to get the doors off. I told the representative I have no special tools to do this and she said there was nothing she could do. I know for a fact that the Outlet store does whatever is needed to haul out the old appliance* I am after all paying for that service. Can you please help me get this issue resolved? I really don't want to have to cancel this order but I have been as long as I can go without a refrigerator.
