On November **th, **** I ordered a dryer on -line to be delivered to my hometown store. I ordered from hometown.com ****. The order number was *********.*On Dec. *th I finally called my local sears store to see if it had been delivered. It had not, they had no record of the order, though my credit card had been charged $***.** on Nov. **.*I called the number they gave me to reach the hometown store team and they informed me that my dryer was in Illinois instead of Oregon. After waiting for a few days to see if they were going to transfer the order to the correct local store, I called my local store to either cancel the order altogether or get a dryer that was in stock at the price I had already paid. *They had a dryer in stock that matched the dryer I ordered. So I drove ** miles to my local store to pick it up. They called and cancelled the dryer that was in Illinois and charged my card for the dryer in the store. Now I have two charges on my card. *I received an e-mail on Dec. *, **** saying they were researching my refund inquiry and to give them ** hrs. I heard nothing.*On Jan. *, **** I called the number again. They assured me that the refund was being taken care of. I heard nothing.*Today, Jan. *, **** I called again. They have assured me that I will received this long overdue refund.
GetHuman-shodgson did not yet indicate what Sears should do to make this right.
