My name is Mr. Charles Feinberg. I live on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. My phone number is ***-***-****. My address is **-*** Mawaena St. Kaneohe, Hawaii *****. The information located on the part that I’m complaining about is:**STAA***A***DC **v******EAU**********SCDco.,LTD. VIETNAM**I personally believe that my complaint easily fits into the Lemon Law. I’ve had to replace the above part twice in the past months. Both a representative and a technician have told me that this part is notoriously defective and that it can never be completely fixed. It will always have to be replaced. The part is a small motor that controls the chute that allows the ice to come out of my Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator. When I reported this to Sears on the mainland they told me that they know of this problem BUT they must follow protocol which means sending out a technician to my house WITHOUT THE PART even though they know what part is defective. This costs my wife and I an entire day where we have to wait at home and another day when the technician comes back to install the part which is sent to me. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. I feel that I deserve a new refrigerator that does not have this reoccurring problem.
