(i have been going around in circles trying to find a phone number to call to talk to a sears manager. the number that i do find connects me to a department and then the phone rings without being picked up.)**a number of months ago i ordered * pair of pant on-line (in sears store). they arrived fine. one pair fit good but the second pair did not (cut wasn't right).**at the time i honestly did not know that sears return policy was ** days. macy's and REI are * year. i bought the pants in january. I realize it's been over * months since i purchased the pants but there must be a way to either return them (tags are still on them and i have receipt) or exchange them. **if you could please help me so that i'm not out $**.**.**thank you.
the process of trying to reach someone at sears who can help me has been incredibly frustrating and time consuming (over * hours).
this issue could be made right by over-riding the ** day return policy. it must be possible to do and would be so appreciated.
i have shopped at sears for years. it's where i always go to get my Lee jeans.
i went through "live chat" to try and get this resolved. the customer service person was very patient and kind but in the end said that i'd gotten the wrong department and she could not help me.
