Obtain a full refund ... I purchased a washer and dryer in store on July *, ****. I mistakenly ordered a gas dryer instead of electric. Was told that I needed to exchange over the phone. Called and was told I need to go to store. Went to store was told I needed to call. Gave person on phone Item number and was told I would be called with delivery date in * days. Was delivered a SECOND gas dryer. Delivery man picked up and returned BOTH dryers on July **, ****. Called CS and was told new delivery date would be scheduled. Never received call. I called and was told * more days. Never received call. Called AGAIN and was told order had been cancelled. At this point I informed person that I also wanted to washing machine and wanted a full refund. Washing machine was picked up on July **, ****. Began calling for refund. Was told *-** Days. Received partial refund in the form of check mailed to my residence. Called concerning remaining amount and was transferred to local store who told me they couldn't do anything* it needed to be handled over the phone. Called back and was told I had to verify warehouse had received returns. I called local warehouse and was informed they could verify all returns. Called * days later and was given a reference number and told it would be 'Escalated'. Received call week later and told the funds had been transferred to my account on July **, ****. I have no record of this. Was told that my bank put a 'hold' on the deposit. Was told to call my bank. Called my bank and they LAUGHED and said they would NEVER put a hold on a deposit. Called Sears back and related this information and was told that it would be 'investigated' and that they would call my bank. THIS IS MOST GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED! OVER A MONTH LATER AND I AM STILL OWED $***.**. I have called over ** times for AT LEAST *** minutes each time. I WANT MY REFUND! I am at the point where I will instigate LITIGATION in order to receive my refund.**REF * ********Sales check * ************
Simple return refund. They keep making excuses.
