To Whom It May Concern,**On July **th I contacted, by phone, to Sears replacement parts for a lightbulb for my Kenmore dryer. I did so to replace the burned out bulb in the condo I had just sold with a closing for the end of July.**The bulb was charged to my account ($**.**) on July **th. I never received the bulb. **I called yesterday - ******** - and after being transferred to * or * different departments, I did find out that the bulb shipped to an address I hadn't used in *** years. The post office realized the address was incorrect and returned the package to Sears. However, no one I spoke to seemed able to correct the problem. I was just transferred to yet another department. I finally just gave up. **Later in the afternoon I tried again using a phone number I was given when I went to the local Sears store. I finally reached a live person who researched my complaint and told me the bulb would be resent to the correct address.**I could not believe the lack of competence of Sears in resolving my issue. Your automated answering system made it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to reach a live person. And, once I finally spoke to a human, with a difficult to understand accent, no one could solve the problem.**Please explain why, when the package was returned to Sears, no credit was issued to me? I gave my phone number and correct address when I placed the order. Why did no one try to call me when the package was returned?**I know Sears is struggling as a corporation. I sincerely expect it will not survive. Given the total lack of customer service, I certainly understand why that will happen.
