I had an appointment for my dryer vent to be cleaned with a time frame of *:**pm to *:**pm today. I called Sears at *:** to see if someone was coming today. They said I had an appointment for Monday July *th. I told them the appointment was for July *, from *-*pm. Just at that moment a man knocked on the door. He came in took the dry & washer away from the wall, disconnected the dryer & then said he needs to get on the roof of the house & could he use my ladder. I told him Sears should supply you with a ladder. He said lady do you want you vent cleaned or not? I told him I did not want to be responsible if there was a problem with my ladder & he got hurt. He got loud with me & said there is something wrong with me and that he could not clean my vent unless I let him use my ladder. Again I told him no and he got angry & said he is leaving. I asked him if he was going to hook up my dryer. He got nasty with me & I told him to leave my house & never come back. I am very disappointed with Sears. They should not expect a client to supply a ladder for their technition to do their job. I called the Tech's office to complain. After talking to Abhi, he said the soonest they could come to my home to clean the vent would be Saturday. We had a very bad connection and we got disconnected. I thought he would call back but didn't. I called the Tech's office again and some lady answered. She said she was Abhi's boss and the soonest they could come out was Saturday. I told her I felt that was not soon enough as Rasa (the Tech) disconnected the dryer and I couldn't wait that long. She said She herd both sides of the story & she sides with her Tech. and thought I was rude. I did not at any time get to talk to her about my side of the story. She automatically sides with a Tech. who was very nasty to a long standing client with Sears. I would appreciate a call from someone @ customer Service. My number is ***- ***- ****.
