Calling any of the numerous numbers listed for Sears did no good, as this purchase was from a Sears Hometown (local) store. We went back to the local store when it finally opened and had a manager correct the issue. We never found any telephone number that reached a native-English speaking person who could help us with this issue.

The best way to submit a complaint is actually submitting the issue or complaint to the Better Business Bureau. You can also submit the issue to the local Manager.

There is no telephone number to resolve a delivery issue with a local Sears Hometown store -- other than the direct number to the local store. Calling any of the main telephone numbers for Sears does nothing for a customer of Sears Hometown stores. Sears Hometown stores are not really part of the main Sears stores' network.
Sear could make it easier to reach the local stores by implementing an online network for Sears Hometown and differentiating from "Sears."*ALSO, Sears should use something other than a telephone number to identify a customer. *The cell phone number I got six years ago is in the Sears system attached to the previous guy who had this phone number! *In my case, my appliances were scheduled for delivery to the person who had my phone number previously, and not to me at my address. :-(
I have always purchased my major appliances -- washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, freezers, lawnmowers -- from Sears, and have done so for more than ** years, in addition to all my Craftsman tools and toolboxes, garage storage.
Calling every number for Sears that I could find did not resolve the issue.*I had to personally visit my local Sears Hometown store in order to resolve this issue. *Of course, I still have no appliances delivered, so I hope this issue IS resolved today.
