We were trying to return clocks for my in-laws ... The return label on the return shipping label, delivered the package to a Sears address in GA that is no longer there. it was delivered to a neighboring company that called me to ask me to pick it up or they would throw it away. As i live in NC and could not retrieve the package, we asked that she ship it back to my inlaws. Instead, it was shipped to the UPS store in the town of Maryville Tn. where it has to sit for * weeks because my inlaws do not drive and we did not visit again until * weeks later.We tried to return the clock to a sears store only to be told they have no affiliation with sears.com. We have spoken to * call center representatives who continue to tell us we cannot return due to the item being over ** days purchased. WE KNOW THAT!! the only reason it is over ** days is because your return shipping label was incorrect!! We have followed every protocol sears has asked of us. We were told after speaking to the * representatives (* of whom hung up on us) that everything would be documented and a resolution with a new shipping address would be emailed to us. We received the email and all it said was "the products were over ** days for return so they were not eligible" OMG! we know! all because your company put the wrong label for returns in the packaging!!
We did everything correctly and just want our money back!
have someone who is not at a call center that could correct the problem and issue a refund
