Hello Samsung - I received my Samsung tablet as a gift from my son in the USA. I am retired, a writer that needs a good piece of internet equipment and living in Peru. I had only * months use of it and it simply stopped working. It took months to receive it waiting for my son to bring it from the usa, and after it ceased to function, summer came and it was too hot for me to travel to Lima (two to three hours from my home) and then the quarantine began. Just this week I found someone who will take it to Samsung in Lima to see about possible repair. They have indicated by phone that it will take months to repair, as parts have to come from the USA since it was bought there. With all the time that has elapsed I no longer have a guarantee. It seems from what I've heard that what occurred with my tablet is a common problem. I am unhappy because for the * months I used it I was in love with the tablet, finding it so versatile and easy. Now I can't even do an absentee ballot to vote because a signature is required and if my tablet worked I could have used it. Will you consider sending me a working Tablet to replace the non-functional one? Or at least a sizeable discount for a new one? I think you might consider that because customer satisfaction is essential to a business . Kindly let me know regarding replacement or other options. thank you.
