The issue in GetHuman-graemeo's own words
I am writing to lodge a complaint in connection with the above purchase.**We purchased a new Samsung Fridge Freezer and had it delivered on **st August ****. The product was supposed to have a water supply pipe and connection to the rear of the appliance, however this was not the case. **We did not select for the water supply to be connected at time of install as this would have cost £** and we were having plumbing work done in my house we decided to ask our plumber to connect the fridge. When my plumber tried to connect the appliance (**th September) he noticed there was no connection point and highlighted this to the Samsung call centre. I have since sent * separate emails to Samsung to try and resolve with no success. **We are simply looking for the missing part to be fitted by a Samsung engineer, as otherwise it would invalidate my warranty if my plumber fitted the missing part as this would involve making alterations to the appliance. **In addition, we are looking to be reimbursed for the following****.*the plumber call-out which ended with the plumber not being able to connect the water supply due to the missing part on the appliance.***.*the water supply kit which I had to purchase separately myself. I believe this should have been included when I purchased the fridge freezer. I have issued a copy of the receipt to Samsung.** *. the cost of the several lengthy phone calls to try and resolve this matter.**I am sure you will appreciate we are within our rights to request the above and have at no stage been unreasonable and have been extremely patient during this process. We are completely astounded by Samsung’s lack of care towards their customers for something which has been a direct result of a faulty appliance and their complete inability to take action to resolve.
