Bought a waterproof watch for my husband as a gift, and it stopped working less than a year after I bought it. It was under warranty, but Samsung agents have made repairs very difficult to obtain. While we called to order the repair while under warranty, when Samsung received the watch a few days later, they claimed it was no longer under warranty. It was a struggle to get them to see the repair was ordered while under warranty. After finally receiving the watch back, it was not working again within days. When we called in Samsung, said the second repair would be covered from the first repair, but when we sent the watch in for the *nd time, we received a repair bill for twice the cost of the watch. Agents were again very difficult, claiming the first repair was a "courtesy" (warranty repairs are an obligation, not a courtesy) and claiming water damage is at fault - on a waterproof watch! If it was not properly re-sealed after the *st repair, that is on Samsung. It has been impossible to get attention to help with this – we have spent hours on the phone, to no avail, and my kind husband has been treated very rudely.*Eventually a Samsung supervisor ordered a call back with a supervisor, but when the supervisor randomly called me back, I could not answer the phone. (No caller ID on the Samsung call to know it was Samsung calling.) They simply didn’t bother to reach me again. I reached out to Samsung support on Facebook, and they said a supervisor would call me back, but as of yet, nothing from Samsung.
