The issue in GetHuman-azangel's own words
Bought a washer and dryer set ** months ago. The dryer took a long time to dry. The wash kept displaying the UB code. A tech was called out to repair both. The first attempt to repair both was unsuccessful. He changed the dampeners on the washer and diagnosed the dryer needing a part to up the amps to *** from **. He came back to finish the dryer, at this point we were unaware the washer was still broke. So had him come out a third time to throw more parts at the washer and again unsuccessful. Washer still broke. The tech took videos and pics for engineering. Tech advised more parts and another visit. So round * of the tech coming go parts added no fix. The service guy contacted Samsung tech services and asked what’s next he was hung up on more than once with the services guys mangers in the phone. At this point I have been with out a washer and dryer for going on three weeks. Still Samsung would not declare the machine unrepairable. Wanted to send the service guy out one more time. Visit * the service guy was here from ***am ***pm. On the day of the *th visit before the service guy came out Samsung cancelled the appointment and did not notify us. At this point we have taken ** hours off work to work in all the appointments. Then it comes time for the refund and this was bought as a set so the only receipt I have shows the set. After all that has happened and the fact that this has so much time from work I have no faith in the product or support. Samsung will not authorize a full refund. Only half as they are willing to take the washer back. Keep in mind the only receipt I have shows the set purchased. Due to lack of options I move forward with a refund and I’m told in *-* business days I will recieve instructions to process the refund. Today being day three I call to find out if there is an update as I was advised I can not get rid of the machine till I get the refund processed. Today I’m told the refund process is *-** business days. Which means I am out a washer and dryer for for over two months!!!! Before I can even start to shop for a new machine. In the mean time I have kids in sports who need uniforms washed with back to back days of play and no way to wash them.
GetHuman-azangel did not yet indicate what Samsung should do to make this right.
