Around the *st of February I got my Sam’s Club MasterCard statement which said I had $***.** of rewards but there was not a rewards check with it like last year. I went to online customer service chat and they told me that all I had to do was go to my nearest Sam’s Club and show them my Sam’s Club Master Card and they would give me the cash. The next day I went and was told by Sam’s club customer service that no rewards showed up on my account. I immediately called Synchrony bank and was told that I would have to wait until I got a letter in the mail. A few days later I got the letter and took it to Sam’s Club and was told the same thing that no rewards showed up so I asked for the store manager who called Synchrony bank. After about an hour with me , the store manager and Synchrony bank on the phone they decided there was some kind of problem with my card because my wife is the primary Sam’s Club member and I am the primary Master Card holder so they would have to Fed X us new cards and that should take care of everything so I could collect my money. I got the new cards a few days later and went back to Sam’s and was once again told that no rewards showed up on Sam’s Club end but they were showing up at Synchrony bank per the Synchrony manager that we had on the phone. This time they told me I would have to wait * to ** days until the **th of March until the rewards would transfer over to the new Card. I went back to Sam’s Club on the **th of March and still had the same problem. I called Synchrony bank and was told my problem would have to be reviewed but they would not give me a time when I would be able to hear from them but not to worry because I had until August before my rewards would expire. I asked to speak to the Synchrony manager who told me the same thing so I asked for the managers manager, who also told me the same thing. She said she would submit my paper work and someone else would call me. I asked her when they would call me and she said she can’t give me an answer so I asked to talk to her manager and she said no and there was nothing else she could do for me today. The letter I got in the mail said “ Congradulations! Your Sam’s Club Master Cash Back Rewards are here! And we’ve made the process redeeming your rewards even easier and more convenient.” I have had this card for years and have never had any trouble collecting my rewards until this year.
