Hello, *At the Gardena, CA Sams club, is there a better way to have checking out customers that utilize the scan & go app to exit the store? As I was getting in line to check out, I waited on the side for the two customers that were already in line to exit. As they finished confirming their items with the employee, Teresa, the employee looked over and stated, “there is a line,” I explained to her I understood which is why I waited for my turn after the two employees in line. She ignored me, as the line accumulated with more customers waiting to exit and confirm their items in their carts, I waited patiently as about * customers got to pass me. She intended for me to go all the way at the other end of the store to get behind a line I was already a part of. I felt helpless as I waited to exit and saw customers cutting my place in line. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed, it took a customer in this growing line to ask the employee, Teresa, to please scan my barcode on my scan&go app. I eventually asked to speak to the store manager, Pedro, who was was helpful in addressing me concerns, but my question is how can we prevent this issue for the next customer checking out with the scan&go app? Will there be signs telling customers to go at the end of the line in the future? Will the employees be helpful next time in explaining the exit process for all customers? Will the employees improve customer service to make me feel welcomed next time I shop there? This incident was very discouraging and now I will have to think twice about grocery shopping here again.
