Help with my Sam's Club issue

I ordered a *M extra-wide adjustable monitor stand to use with my DVR & TV satellite receiver. The DVR is **" wide, too wide to fit under the shelf so I can put the receiver above it. I logged in to my account to return the item, purchased with my reward dollars and was told I had to call ***-***-****, which I did and was advised I could get help here. I would like to return the item and get the reward dollars added back to my account. The cost was $**.** plus tax of $*.**.
GetHuman-jphelpsc did not yet indicate what Sam's Club should do to make this right.
