The issue in GetHuman-atomic's own words
Text ... I have a ZTE safelink phone with an unlimited text message plan, but when I attempt to send texts, I get error message 'insufficient funds' many times, the message fails to go through, and the call log is saying I'm placing calls which I didn't make and any calls received are numerous. Example: My husband called me once yesterday and the log read that he called me * times. I've restarted with no success.
I called safelink on the same phone since my husband uses his phone at work. I was told that I needed to call back on different phone so I'll have to try back when he's not at work. I could barely understand the woman who answered. She abruptly told me the call was over and to hang up. Very rude.
The plan is an unlimited texting plan. The insufficient fund error message needs to go away and my texts need to go through. In addition, the glitch making the call log read multiple calls versus just the one call needs to be fixed.
This is the first time I've had any issues with the phone or had to call safelink.
I've restarted the phone and taken the battery out, then put it back in and restarted the phone. I'm afraid to try a manufacture reset because that may require a complete restart of the safelink application, etc. I don't know what else to do though.
