I bought a red smeg tall fridge from Currys on **.*.** I had to wait several weeks for delivery. When it arrived after the delivery men had left I noticed lots of marks on both sides. I contacted Currys who agreed to send me a replacement & collect the first one. My new fridge arrived today & to my dismay & great disappointment the same type of marks are visible in the same places. The delivery men said that they are marks from the polystyrene packaging. They both tried to remove the marks unsuccessfully. They advised me to contact Smeg direct to ask for someone from Smeg to come to my home to remove the marks They also said that if I had another replacement fridge that it would be the same. *This fridge cost me £ ****.**. And it is cosmetically damaged. *Please advise *Regards *Angela Heath

I had * Smeg tall red fridges delivered in total. They were all cosmetically damaged ( from the polystyrene packaging ) Currys asked me to contact Smeg to ask how I COULD CLEAN THE DAMAGE OFF At the price I paid I was not prepared to spend several hours doing this. I did not contact Smeg regarding this as they do not reply to emails anyway. Finally I insisted on a refund from Currys. I have now ordered a fridge freeezer from A O. They have good customer service ratings. I have NOT ordered another Smeg
